I canât really answer how the atmosphere is. Every time I have come here I have used my app and place an order. Usually when ordering online, itâs a lot faster. However, tonight was the last straw! I ordered a cherry limeade and ocean water and half sweet tea and lemonade. Simple things. Nothing complicated. Nothing thatâs gonna take a long time. I ordered it at 10pm order should have came out at 10:06. I was the only one in the parking lot!!! The order did not come out until 10:16. The black truck that pulled up eight minutes after I had placed my order. Got their ice cream first. I can understand three simple drinks to make might take a minute if I wasnât the only car in the parking lot. There were five people working tonight. What really upset me about the whole thing was the fact that the car next to me got their stuff first. Then when I asked the girl that walked out. Not hey so sorry it took so long. Sorry you had to wait so long no sorry at all! Just here you go. Then I asked her. Why did that truck get their stuff before me. She said oh they had an online order. I said I did too. She goes well there was ice cream. I said mine was something simple. You have to make the ice cream. Her excuses made no sense. When I told her I donât think Iâll be back. She walked away and said OK. No, hey, Iâm really sorry about that. Youâre right you shouldâve came out first nothing. I get that theyâre teenagers. But this is how you learn to apologize and not get an attitude. I was not ugly when I asked why they got it first. I told her I had an online order too. This is absolutely ridiculous and itâs not the first time Iâve come and experience this. However, tonight will definitely be the last. I have a friend that works at a different Sonic. I called her tonight. Sheâs the reason why Iâm leaving this review. But she flat out told me that some people will take customers orders for whoever tips the most, they will get the orders first. Thatâs not how it works! If I tip you, itâs because Iâm doing something nice for you. Sonic makes plenty of money and could pay you like any other job.    Read moreSonic in Kaufman was very unprofessional. We ordered on the Sonic App and went to go pick it up. However, the person who ordered it was not the one to go pick it up. Sonic employees stated they could not find the order and advised us to go back and have the person who ordered it come get it. We did, when we got back we tried to check in on the phone but it was unavailable. The Sonic employees were immediately able to locate the order. Sonic employees brought the order out and I asked to speak to a Manager. The Manager had no clue what was going on or why they could not find the order before we left the first time. The employee who dealt with us came out and joined our conversation and advised us our order was in the drive thru and they had to switch it over. I advised her that they had to put it there we did not. She insisted it was us when I told her it wasn't she said she was not sure what happen she did not have the headset on. I asked her why did she tell us to go home and come back and she stated we did not know what else to do. Then she said I am not sure what the big deal is you got your food. I explained to her time is money and gas is 3.00 a gallon. I also advised her that she is not taking any responsibility and placing the blame on us. She sarcastically stated " it is my fault, is that what you want to hear?!" I said thank you for your sarcasm and looked at the so called manager and said you need to train your people better. As they were walking away I could see the manager consoling the employee stating don't worry about them you did all you could do.(This was my perception, since there was no real accountability from either the employee or manager during our conversation) Instead of apologizing for their error in a sincere way, which is all I was looking for, they kept looking for ways to place...
   Read moreBy far the worst sonic I have ever been too. My order has been wrong every time and customer service is non existent. Whatâs worse is, I place my order via the app so I know the order is placed correctly. In my most recent experience today, I placed my order via app per usual. I arrived at sonic and checked into a stall 8 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. After sitting there for about 10 minutes, I saw on the screen a carhop was on the way with my order. 10 more minutes go by, still no food. At this point, my name is no longer checked into the screen at the stall and it said push the button for service. I had decided I had waited long enough so I press the button and let them know the situation. The woman said there was a âmix upâ and they were remaking my order. I questioned what happened and the woman said they must have gave my order to someone else. SHOCKER. I also donât believe they realized this until I called in. 5ish minutes later, the manager walks out with our food. She notices one of our drinks is half full and takes it back inside to fill it up which was great, but another example of people not doing their job. Finally, there was no apology or recognition of wrong doing which is the main reason I am leaving this review.
