After emailing the owner ,she and I will never agree,I believe in customer satisfaction. She deflects like a government employee. The UPS sign on this storefront might pull me in once but not twice. Unless you have no other means of these services, avoid trouble and find a better location. Working through trouble is not what they do. While attempting to drop off a couple packages on 5-3-19, things went very wrong inside your store. My name is Murray I work for * tools and have used my companies corporate UPS account number to ship in the field for about 30 years. A young lady that seemed to be in training was trying to help me . I told her in the beginning I was shipping and billing with the account number. She finalized and ask me for payment and I reminded her it was to bill to the account. I told her I simply wanted it billed to the account. She said that couldn’t be done. I let her know this is not the first time I have shipped this way. She informed me it was not a corporate store and she was not a ups employee. I ask her if UPS had changed something …then I ask who the owner was . She put cards down and as I ask her what her name was she walked over got in my face and very aggressively stated her name. I ask her to write it down and she refused. I let her know that this is not good customer service. She said why? because I won’t give you what you want . I don’t want anyone to give me anything. I would like to conduct business the same way I have with UPS for 30 years under this account number. I have already called UPS to see if changes have taken place that I’m unaware of. Maybe its just your location with this policy. Maybe there is a reason your employees always claim to be new hires. If you could clue me in on your stores policies as they pertain to just how far you believe a customer can be pushed before blowing up. That would be helpful . Nothing wrong with a strong willed employee standing up protecting the company interest. But this is the opposite of that. I’m only one displeased customer but isn’t that why some business fail and some make it , because even one wronged customer is too many. Customer service is not a relative term with me because it’s my business. Maybe it’s a UPS store Kaufman thing to act this way. I will assume nothing will change at your store and or that your store handles corporate accounts different from other stores. Hence I will bypass your business , and as a trusted opinion in very large circles I will pass that message on. Murray The owner responded, was defensive, insulting and arrogant. Via email. If you do business with UPS store in Kaufman you need to Increase your chances of being satisfied and lower your expectations. All other UPS stores I checked with today say no problem with taking a UPS corporate account for billing. This created a dead line delay for me today, thanks Kaufman UPS Store. California misses you UPS store owner. Millions of customers, right behind me to take my place, sounds very LA. They think that way out there just like you. You would feel right at home out there. Funny when I called UPS today most people I talked to, thought not taking the account number was strange. All you guys had to say is not here. We just will have to agree to disagree. I was the customer today and no matter how wrong I might have been in using adjectives that offend you. The customer is always right until you explain why his wrong. I don’t care to fix a problem you can’t even fix. No more comments please. You have wasted enough of my time and offended me enough. To you I say good luck and since God fearing men don’t believe in luck, so that means I leave you to yourself, where your focus is at. You might want to look at why a customer would feel the need to...
Read moreWe were not home when a package was delivered so it was taken to this store. We had no choice in it. It was a package to my daughter and her fiancé from their bridal registry. It was addressed to her and her fiancé at our address. I took the slip the delivery person left with me as well as proof of my residency at that address (property tax records). They would not give me the package since it wasn't my name on the package, even though I had property records that I was owner of that property. I was told they would not give it to my daughter either since her identification did not have her married name on it yet. The only person who had an exact name match was the groom who lives 86 miles away, but his ID does not have our address as his residence. "Store policy." I said this is ridiculous to have him drive 86 miles one way to get a package. Plus I had no idea they would even give it to him since his address on his ID was different. I was told to return the following day to speak with a manager.
I returned the following day and spoke with the assistant manager, Janelle, and was told the same thing. "Store policy." After pushing the issue and asking if she was really going to make the groom drive that far to pick up this package, she said if he called there and gave authorization for me to pick up the package she would give it to me. I contacted him, gave him the phone number and who to speak with. He immediately called. I could hear the phone ringing. She would not pick up the phone. She was helping another customer. I told the groom to keep calling back. After about the 6th time he called, I said to her, "That's him calling like you told me to have him do!" She said, "I'm helping a customer. I can't answer the phone. STORE POLICY." After she finished with that customer I butted in line and went back and stood by her register so she didn't start with another person. Finally after about the 8th or 10th time he called she finally picked up the phone. She asked him his name, what address it was shipped to and the name of the person he authorized to pick it up. I could have told any random guy this info and have him call if I wanted to steal a package. This was flippin' ridiculous. I though I was in the twilight zone. I will NEVER go to this store by choice. I may be forced to again if UPS doesn't leave a package at our address, but I will not ever choose to do business with...
Read moreVery rude staffing.... There was three female employees in the store this afternoon when I came in. I came to get some pictures laminated drove all the was from the Forney location because they were out of paper. One lady was on a ladder but she seemed to be the most knowledgeable employee because the other two kept having to ask her how to do things. Mind you I already came from another UPS location were they gave me size & price of my needs these three ladies proceeded to rudely argue & acted like me asking questions were putting them out. Needless to say I finally stated to just give me my pictures back and I will take my business elsewhere. I guess thats why the Kaufman UPS store is never busy. Because of the lack of customer service. Kindness goes along way ladies & if you don't like your job at UPS and answering questions to customers then I know there are plenty of others out there that would.
Response to UPS's Response: The UPS Store 6817 again I know how big my items were that I brought in I knew exactly what was needed you and your employees did not listen nor understand as you can see in the photos provided so your other future customers can see this review that it is clearly a 10x14 that I brought in to get laminated. At the end of the day You wanted to charge me for a 11x17 even though my picture was a 10x14 & when I tried to ask questions you and your employees were very rude and put out. So yes I took my business elsewhere and I suggest others to...
