Fire Pit Barbecue — Restaurant in Kearny

Went there a little while ago with my mother and daughter. The food was terrible, ordered a meal and it was supposed to come with a half a chicken and beef ribs.. We got like 2 small drumsticks and 2 tiny buffalo looking wings with 2 beef ribs that tasted like rubber and tiny bit of rice and fries. Told the "manager" it was not even 1/4th of a chicken the funny thing is that we asked him if the portion was good enough for 3 people. He said oh yeah. Nah it wasn't, we are thin people that don't eat a lot but it clearly was a meal for 1 person ( overpriced) Then the manager tells one of the cooks and he comes out behind the counter to give us dirty looks and when my mother asks him why is he staring at her he said he can "look at who he wants to and if she doesn't like it she can leave." Arguing with my mother and the "manager" doing nothing ..just standing there. My mother then tells the manager why didn't you step in instead of doing something? We barely finished the food and left. IT was comped except the drinks which was ok but that place was a dump and the attitude there was horrible. There are plenty of BBQ nearby where you can get better quality, food, and portions for the same price if not less and not get treated like garbage in...

If I could give Negative 5 stars I would I will NEVER give my business to this restaurant again. The delivery man has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN! It is the third time this happens. The first time he DEMANDED A TIP instead of calmly explaining the situation of why. In which case I would have understood perfectly why. The second time he DEMANDED A TIP again rudely. I called to complain and the same thing happened with whomever I spoke with on the phone. I was met with my rudeness over the phone and today instead of telling me that I was going to get charged a delivery charge the same delivery man arrives and to my surprise they had charged with a $5 charge. I do not mind the fee however if it would have been calmly explained to me instead of rudely being demanded tips i would have understood. I will never shop in this restaurant again and I will tell my friends and family that the delivery customer service is garbage in this...

Typically enjoy their food for take out but the dine in was horrendous. No attention was paid to us at all , we had to flag down a waiter to place an order after 20 minutes (there aren’t that many tables, and wasn’t that busy… the care just doesn’t seem to be there), we grabbed the high chair ourself, menus were never taken , they had no straws for the kids or any straws at all. When we finally ordered the wait was horrible , we never actually got our food as we just had to go , kids were starving even the baby was wondering where the food was. To top it off the waitress who was head in the clouds the entire time , asked us , “did we order ?” After seeing us visibly upset.
