We called twice to make sure there would be a table for our party of 7, and both times, we were told that they "should" have a table available because Sundays are their slow days.
We get there and are told that the two tables that are big enough for 6+ people were currently in use, and they weren't sure when they'd be free. The whole time we're waiting, we're seeing empty tables big enough for 6+ people.
They asked us if two back to back booths would work. When we told them that the booths would NOT work for us, they proceeded to get the booths ready for us anyway.
45 minutes later, we're finally seated. Our waitress introduced herself and gave us menus and flatware. She took our drink orders, and shortly after she left, we looked at our flatware and found that there was still food in two of the forks and food on one of the steak knives.
When she returned with the drinks we asked her for new flatware to replace the dirty ones, when she came back with the thankfully clean flatware, she asked if we were ready to order, and we all told her that we all still needed a few minutes seeing as how we were only sitting for not even 5 minutes prior.
She came back a few minutes later, and we were ready to order. After placing our orders, we waited maybe 15-20 minutes for the appetizer to come out, and only a few short minutes after that, the meals came out.
Three 6oz sirloin steaks and one 10oz sirloin were ordered. We received the three 6oz steaks, and the 10oz sirloin wasn't a sirloin at all. It was a NY strip steak, which I believe wasn't even an option on the menu. The broccoli on the plate with the 10oz steak wasn't cooked, and the potatoes were loaded with bacon and cheese, which the menu didn't mention.
They didn't come around much to check on us to see how the food was, or to see if we wanted/needed refills, and two of us would've liked a refill, but we barely saw our waitress.
The only good thing that came from this experience was spending time with family. I'm honestly and unfortunately put off by the experience with the restaurant and...

To the cantina Chili’s I journeyed, seeking sustenance and savings. Choose the path of the “3 for Me” special, I did—starter, burger, and a fountain drink for but $10.99 credits. Hmmm… a deal this good? Clouded by the Dark Side it is not. Separately, the meal would’ve cost near $25—but with this Jedi mind trick of a value combo, the credits stayed in my pouch.
Many paths to choose from in this “3 for Me” realm—ranging from $10.99 to $16.99, depending on the entrée you summon. Choose wisely, young padawan, for the choices are plentiful.
Tempted I was by the Dark Side… and yes, ordered the Mini Molten Lava Cake for an extra $3.99. A sweet decision, that was. Rich, warm, and flowing like the lava pits of Mustafar, it was.
But alas, not all was balance in the Force… The service—mmm—mediocre, at best. Like waiting on Jedi Council approvals, it took far too long to receive a refill or place a dessert order. The servers, though kind, moved slower than a bantha stuck in molasses.
Would I return? Return I shall, when value outweighs the wait. But next time… I may bring a droid to flag down my server faster.

Read moreWell, birthday dinner ruined! Had Colin as a server and got so much attitude. Tried to help him figure out whose drink was whos, calling a half lemonade half tea an “Arnold Palmer” (which it is) only for him to sarcastically remark that it wasn’t because “it had mango in it”. Like dude, just trying to help? He then proceeded to call my friend “The only normal one out of us all”. Also, my other friend (who is on the autism spectrum) ordered a chicken sandwich without certain ingredients to not trigger her food sensitivities. The burger she got had those ingredients on the burger, so she requested for them to remake it. colin said “you could just scrape it off” but there was sauce that was difficult to remove. She asked for the kitchen to remake it, and Colin gave her an attitude. It’s annoying to ask for a remake, I know, but my friend specifically asked for it to be a certain way. I know service jobs are difficult, but come on. There was no need for any of the attitude, my party was more than kind to him. I don’t know if it his reasoning was because we were a group of college kids or what. Horrible experience, especially considering one of my friends drove 2 hours to meet us there. Happy birthday...
