(First off I did offer to pay after having to leave arriving at work even though I never got my food.) Very simple I thought it would be ok to give another try to Huckleberry, Apparently I was mistaken! My order was very simple, I ordered eggs scrambled and sausage links. There was a daughter and father I happened to noticed from the local Jabos hardware, they were seated towards the entrance well after I was, my server was unknown I certainly don't remember being introduced, or that there was informed of any wait by the hostess at my seating time.

Only one waiter made a comment he liked my necklace. I waited 25 minuets after finally he brought my drink, I never saw my waitress again, the father daughter already had they're order, the family on the other side had they're appetizer order or something, all his happened between 10:15am and 10:40am while I still only had a simple order that never showed and I only after 25min had my drink. I simply couldn't be having the second bad experience at this place! I had no more time so left! I could not get the picture of me paying $$$for this breakfast when I could go to Waffle House if I wasn't in a hurry.

I contacted the manager of this Huckleberrys at 11:31am after getting something to go at my stand by coffee shop across the tracks, out of my way on the way to work.

Her response was I'm sorry, three people called off so that was all I got from Huckleberrys. I received no attempt to make my experience right! Go try them out if you want to go spend $$$$ for nothing, I tried to be gracious because my type of service takes time, but at least they could offer to make the next visit count.

Nothing from Huckleberrys! thank you again for the horrible experience Huckleberry's!

I almost video recorded this one but had...

I participated in the Wounded Warrior Military Miles this morning at Bear Creek in Keller, TX. This restaurant is new and the reviews were good, so I decided to check it out. I mean, I worked up an appetite and I drove over an hour for the race, so eating was next on the agenda 😊

First off, Noah was my waiter and he was so sweet and knowledgeable of the menu. It was hard to make a decision so he recommended a couple of dishes. I decided on the Old Time (I think that was the name😬). It was soooo good. I opted to have the sauce on the side just in case I didn't like it, but I did. However, the biscuit did it for me. It was like they used a flavored butter and the griddle to make it a little crispy. I like red potatoes so I went for that instead of hash browns. i don't eat a lot, so I was able to bring half home.

Now, for y'all coffee drinkers, the coffee was good. I like to try local coffee shops so it was nice to have something different and good.

I tell you customer service is everything outside of a good meal. Therefore, from the female waitress that held the causal conversation, since it was slow, and I was waiting on my delicious food arrive, then to my wonderful waiter Noah. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the...

I was a bit disappointed overall. I wasn't expecting much since it's California's version of cajun food, but it was even more bland than I expected.

Food: I got the Mississippi skillet, which is more potatoes than anything else, and I had to add tons of pepper and hot sauce to cut the blandness. I chose the huckleberry muffin for the side and it was amazing! Just wish the whole meal was as good as the muffin.

My spouse got the Tom's scramble and liked it, though did say it was quite bland.

Atmosphere: Cramped. Very cramped. There was a line piling up outside the door upon arrival on a Tuesday afternoon. My spouse and I were seated at a two-person table and we were sitting super close to someone else's booth. The clutter on top of the table (paper towel roll, box of sugar/salt/pepper) and jelly kiosk made it feel more cramped. It's also a sensory nightmare inside noise-wise.

Staff: I cut the staff some slack because they're a brand new business and still getting everything situated. Everyone was very nice and visibly flustered. The lady doing the training for the wait staff was weirdly rushing us to order and pay. Otherwise they were...

We found ourselves in Keller this morning and decided to give Huckleberry's a try for breakfast. The atmosphere is very much like the bayou, with the tin roof over the booths, to the alligators caged above your head or the one by the front door trapped in a barrel of molasses. Our server was named Kate, very very friendly. She gave us some recommendations as to what is good to eat. She answered "Everything"! I chose the fried green tomatoes and the 2 eggs, taters and toast (scrambled with cheese, hash browns and biscuit and gravy). My son chose the crab cake eggs Benedict. BEST fried green tomatoes I've had in a really long time. I grew up in Alabama where my dad grew his own tomatoes and we ate a bunch over the years. So I'm comparing Huckleberry's to my Dad's!! Pretty close 2nd. The restaurant opened in January and they are the only one in the state of Texas. Go give them a try, not just for breakfast, they have a lunch menu too. You can order anything from the menu throughout the day, so if you want breakfast for lunch, or lunch for breakfast, no problem!! Thanks Kate for a wonderful breakfast. Definitely going to eat here again.

Went in for the first time with an open mind and it was a whirlwind. Everyone kept apologizing for the wait but I didn't wait at all. I was immediately seated and a server was there to take my order. And the food came to the table shortly after. Everything felt rushed. The food was fine , but could have been better. The fried green tomatoes were good but such a small serving for a shareable appetizer, and the plate was half empty, could have used a garnish I got the crab cake Benedict with a side of "extra crispy" hashbrowns. My poached eggs were overcooked and rubbery which was a bit of a bummer and the hash browns were soggy save for a few crispy edge pieces. But the crab cake was delicious and fresh and the hollandaise was the perfect texture. Didn't like the "Rainforest cafe" decor . Seems tacky to me . I think if they removed a row of tables and gave a little bit more space it would be a more comfortable dining experience. Not a bad experience, but not my favorite brunch place in the area. Might try it again down the road.
