Fuji Steakhouse — Restaurant in Kelly Township

I won't be going back.

The first thing I noticed about this place was the dirty floor. One of my rules is that if a restaurant can't keep the public areas clean, then just imagine what is happening in the kitchen.

In addition, the wallpaper is peeling off the walls.

Otherwise, the dining room is as you expect.

This in and of itself isn't terrible, it just kicks this place down to "hole in the wall" status, and hole in the wall places can be some really terrific experiences.

Unfortunately, this wasn't.

The food was "pretty good". My wife and I both got the hibachi steak and it was ok.

We got adventurous with the sushi and ordered the east meat west roll that comes with steak on top.

Not a fan at all. But it came as described. I just didn't realize it was raw steak on top of the roll.

Our server was the worst part though. When we saw her, which was very infrequently, she didn't do a good job taking care of us.

When I asked her to tell me more about the sushi roll, she directed me to the picture.

She never refilled our drinks, and never came back to ask how our food was.

For two sushi rolls and two hibachi steak dinners, we paid $76.

So, I recently visited Fuji Steakhouse in Lewisburg, PA and decided to try the Rainbow Combo from the sushi bar. The combo included a rainbow sushi roll, two pieces of salmon sushi, two pieces of tuna sushi, and two pieces of tilapia sushi. I also asked for a side of eel sauce and for a drink I ordered water with lemon.

I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with the sushi! It was incredibly fresh and the Rainbow roll was not only beautiful to look at but also absolutely delicious. The salmon, tuna, and tilapia sushi were also top-notch.

To accompany the sushi, I ordered a side of eel sauce, which added the perfect amount of sweetness and tanginess and for a drink, I went with a simple water with lemon, which was a refreshing touch.

Overall, my experience at Fuji Steakhouse was fantastic. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant. This is my husband and I’s favorite restaurant in Lewisburg. We come very often. The main dishes are truly amazing! Some of our favorite dishes are the Red coconut curry (all the curries are good!) the Thai mango chicken, and the Godzilla roll. The dinner servings are abundant! The complimentary soup and salad are not good, unfortunately. We recently ordered through grub hub for the first time, which was a terrible experience. To cut it short, waited 1.5 hrs, then our order was cancelled due to a “delivery issue”. We called the restaurant but had to order again, waited another 40min to go pick up the new order ourselves. We were told on the phone to hurry up ordering because they were busy. I understand how it can be when you’re busy but that’s pretty frustrating to hear after what we went through.
