Plaza Jalisco — Restaurant in Kelso

My family and I eat here quite often. This is the first time I have had such poor service. I stopped to order food to go. As the girl came up to take my order, an older lady came in. The girl asked if it was just one person dining. And I replied I would like to place an order to go. She then turned to the other lady and asked what she would like. The older lady replied that she just needed 2 gift cards. The girl proceeded to get the cards for the lady prior to taking my order. She then took my order. I informed her that I felt it was rude that she had chosen to help the other lady before me, since I had been there first. She then decided to ring other customers out, prior to turning my order in to the kitchen. Definitely disappointed. If I could give zero stars for my experience today,...

I went here after my wedding because I was told it was so good. I made reservations 24 hrs in advance for 20 people so they would have enough staff. They obviously didn't get enough cooks. First we had to wait and finally asked for someone one to take our order, took forever to get our orders. We ordered the fajita combo. The chicken was translucent and hard like jerky. They did fix us new chicken which was perfect. We got 4 shrimp and the beef was off in the flavor and chewy. The whole beans they give with the chips were awesome. I could've eaten a gallon of those. Maybe it was just an off day for them. I'd only heard good things from my husband and his friends prior but they even said they'd never go back. Sad way to end a beautiful day. The New Plaza Jalisco meal was VERY good & was so much food, therefore becoming 2 meals for me, of which the leftovers tasted just as good as prior evening. The tortilla chips served though tasted to be store bought, and I get that they take extra time to make fresh, but they weren't the best tasting. I was in not long before closing & only 2 other patrons within, so the service was very prompt & the young lady did a good job about returning to inquire how my food was, however, I was there for personal somber reasons & a smile would've been nice to see... but not one available.
