I am a coffee shop nomad... I work out of a different coffee shop each day, many of which are starbucks. I tend to spend about $150 a week on coffee, much of that is at these locations. However, with the new 'crackdown' passed down from corporate... it's left our rural starbucks feeling rude. I was sitting outside on the patio today, at 8am... the drive through was BUSTLING, but the inside had one table occupied and the remaining 20 or so chairs completely empty. Not a soul on the patio except me... a lady came out and said the patio is for paying customers only. Now... I hadn't ordered yet (and had been here for about 10 mins) because i was waiting on the other half of my party to arrive before ordering. This approach makes perfect sense when there's a need to keep the tables open for paying customers... but when your coffee shop is empty-- it's a stupid tactic that only will serve as a regression of the stellar environment that has been cultivated over all these years.
the beauty of starbucks was, it's upscale feeling even when it's as large as it is. Start rushing me and all your loyalist customers to order and you threaten that relationship immensly. I'd encourage this location to adopt a more common sense approach... and have the table police leave us alone when the shop is flat empty. Cause you wanna know something? Panera has their unlimited sip club... SPECIFICALLY to fill tables... because where people spend their time, is also where they spend their money. This location catches the bad stars for a stupid...
Read moreI don't know why this location always has issues. Everytime I decide to give them a chance, it almost as if they're like how much more can I mess up than last time. Today I ordered two drinks. They told me one of them takes a long time, which it shouldn't you just need to have had the tea brewed but obviously you didn't so I said that's fine I'll wait, she told me to pull to the front and wait. I did... for 15+ minutes. Then when no one came we went back through the drive through where she said oh your drinks are ready. I pull up to the window and said if my drinks were ready why didn't you bring them out, she said sorry there was a mix up. I've never had an issue with either of these drinks being made at any other location. I don't know how you guys managed to mess up multiple times in just one visit. Needless to say they need better management, training and extra time to prep. I won't be coming here again. I don't advise anyone to either, if you're passing through head to the woodland Starbucks where they at least make your drink right and don't forget about you. Or you can head to the one in town too, if you don't want your...
Read moreTook 28 min on a Saturday at 11am to get one drink inside the restaurant since they were only serving drive through.
UPDATE AFTER SBUX REPLY: The generic link to customer service support you reply with is not useful at all. This is a problem that corporate needs to address strongly here other than sending people to a generic form to fill out to get a free coffee here. I am not interested in that at all. I think if you look at the trend here on this location you have a major issue with the staff and management at this location. There are tons of reviews of recent that state that the staff at this location are rude, they take forever to get drinks, when asked after long durations they get eye rolls and sneers. It tarnishes the brand image and when you have people complaining about the service for a company that's main product s are coffee quality and SERVICE, it will make customers leave. This is a PROBLEM THAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED!
Question to the social media rep that replies: Is it acceptable to corporate have a employee be rude when asked when their one coffee will be ready when its been over 20 minutes since...
