Blue Cat Game Cafe — Local services in Kelso

Update: even with all of the changes in the mall, Blue Cat Games is the premier stop at the Three Rivers Mall for gaming and hot food. Ben is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and provides professional and courteous service.

Blue Cat Games has a large selection of board game and trading card game product, with especially good support for Lorcana and Magic the Gathering. Magic the Gathering boosters and precons are found in abundance alongside playmats, sleeves and a large selection of secret lair and pre-release kits from vintage sets. They often run specials on packs and snacks in store. Service is always friendly and personable. I don't personally play Lorcana but there seems to be a very active player base in store on event nights. I usually see a dozen or more people playing while I shop for magic singles. Blue Cat Games has recently become my store of choice for grabbing some quick boosters or a few choice singles to finish a deck. All in all I'd recommend that anyone interested in trading card games at least stop by next time you are at the Kelso Mall.

Payed $10 to play a Lorcana tournament where we had been told "its 1 pack for signing up, and 1 pack for each round win" when we signed up, but after the tournament, even though i won a match, i was only given a single pack in of cards and told "1 win is the same prize pool as no wins". On top of that, the store owner took part in the tournament, causing people who are brand new to the game, with very limited card selections for decks, to be absolutely destroyed without a chance to get a win. The magic of this store is the staff. Always inviting and being truly outstanding folks by walking you through every question and making you feel welcome.
