JCPenney — Local services in Kelso

I went here looking for a couple of men's slacks and maybe a dress shirt. Was sorely disappointed as there were hardly any selections of either. Mostly blue, white, and maybe a few other color shirts, but nothing in green or purple or much other colors. Almost looked like a goodwill selection or a 2nd hand store. Then for the pants, I couldn't find anything below a size 36 waist and for the actual slacks, 2 to pick from and again not anything below 36 waist. Khaki was even slim pickings! I asked a man up front where the rest of the dress clothes were and he said what you saw is what we have. I asked why there wasnt much of a selection and he said local schools had prom and they havent restocked! What a lame excuse for someone who was ready to buy since this is one of the only department stores in Longview with anything close to business attire. Guess I'll make the drive to Vancouver instead. My jewelry order for Christmas was botched and their customer service reps. totally mislead me regarding the status of my delivery. I ordered and paid for some items on Dec. 5. On Dec. 21 I received an email notice that my order was on its way. UPS tracking indicated a label was printed Dec 18 with no other information available. Watching the progress intensely, on Dec 23 with UPS showing no item was received by them, I contacted Penny's customer service both by chat and phone. In both instances I was informed that my items would arrive Dec.24 as promised, guaranteed. Well, as you can tell from my one star review, I was mislead. On Dec. 28 I finally spoke to a CSR who informed me of which I already knew. Here's the kicker. I could have driven a short distance to a near by store where my items were in stock. NEVER TRUST J.C. I do not shop JCPenney's very often I will admit out of five different people who work there one of the people knew what they were doing and were able to help me and my wife the others or snobby and acted like they were better then me and my wife and I believe simply just because we have a couple tattoos they didn't even want to help us two of them gave us dirty looksand all I did was ask are these all the Nikes you guys carry or is there more in the back two different women gave me a dirty look did not answer and just walked away I hope not all JCPenney's are this way I will never visit that story again and would not recommend it to anyone and I really truly hope I didn't get her name but the chick or young lady who work there with half her head shaving and trust goth should no...
