My family has been going to this place since it opened. This has always been a fun place until recently. My 10 yo daughter and seven year old autistic son came to me upset and visibly shaken, when I asked what was wrong they said the worker yelled at them to get off a jumping item, I asked my kids why and they had no idea. So when I went to ask the worker she states my kids were not following the rules and stated she told them the rules. I looked at my kids and knew they had no clue. I then asked the worker to please explain the rules to me with my kids there so I knew the rules as well as my kids. ( most mothers do this so when later when I can remind them before playing.) instead she just repeated I already told them, over and over. I asked I want to know the rules so I can explain them to my son again later. She refused to and just argued. We decided to leave and will not be back. We will travel to Vancouver or Olympia for our jump houses. Sad the owners were so friendly and staff up until this last year. Keisha the worker needs to learn patience and grace when dealing with children. After a long talk with my kids they said she never said anything to them about rules only yelled at them to get off. Again thank you Keisha for giving my children a negative experience at one of their favorite places.
Response to owners comment
I asked what the rules were of the bounce house in question. Not at any moment did any of the three workers show me the posted rules or that they are online after being asked multiple times. I did not sign a waiver so I was not aware. As a mother that use to go frequently, I walked with my kids and supervised them. The younger girls that worked there before walked around were constantly cleaning the mats and items. I have never seen any of the current staff do this. Typically the gentleman is seen walking around, the other two ladies are usually sitting talking or on their phones…the customer service has went down hill. They are the face of...
Read moreWe had a planned party and learned something from the experience: We arrived early to set up and had to wait until after our alloted time to be allowed to enter the den. We had been told we were allowed 15 minutes to set up. We were late getting out as we had thought we were still allowed the 60 minutes. It resulted in just over $54.00 in charges. Ill save you some money on your party - do it elsewhere and just bring the kids in to play - you dont get the 60 minutes you pay over $200 for. Just some free advertising.
*Edit following owner response: Now I know why we got the car seat delivered to our party that belonged to the next one and had to deal with her complaints about us taking her stuff. I wish I could say that we were mad about what you believe we were. As local business owners ourselves - it wasnt on our radar until we were still sitting at the octagonal table after our party started. Cameras have time stamps. I acknowledged that we were in fact late departing, but your staff was unloading the following party after we...
