We had a flood in our hallway from the ceiling in front of our room. My 100-year-old mother was inside, and they walked her outside and left her, knowing she was 100 without shoes, a coat, or guidance. Another person staying at the hotel saw that she was cold and shoeless and put her in their car, (They went and bought some coffee for her). Myself and other guests were in the neighboring park preparing for an afternoon wedding. It took awhile for us to find out, as the other family members and other guests were been evacuated too. It took awhile to find my mom & where she was before they settled down and called me. Due to this mess: I lost a pair of BOB leather shoes that smelled awful, so I had to throw them away, (Aubrey saw them), and my son lost a pair of newer shoes too. We both ended up being wet up to our ankles and with soaked/flooded shoes. Only 1 employee offered to help us and she was running down the hallway doing something else, so of course I said no.....we had another family group in the same hallway (2 rooms) that we had to move too, all of us went upstairs. This created my daughter (mother of the bride, myself (grandmother of the bride) and my 100 YO mother to not be able to bathe, wash our hair to get the the house of the beautician to get our hair done. My outfit was wet from blowing water, so I had to have the manager start a dryer for me, luckily, it's ok because it is a dry-clean-only brand-new outfit. Aubrey gave me $150.00 off my room with no concern for my son's shoes or his room. His name is Rocky Prentiss and I feel he should get the $150.00 off of his room also, (credit). His shoes cost $120.00, and mine were $90. I am a size 5 and very hard to find in adult style shoes.....they were both on the newer side (always take your favorite/newer stuff on vacation). On a lighter note: The staff are very friendly and worked very hard to get us rooms ready ASAP...BUT....Late to the wedding, not getting things done we were going to do, and not feeling fresh and beautiful.

Read moreWe stayed this past weekend, 3/17/23, to attend a baseball tournament next door at the park. Our room was clean and nice but everything wasn't. Pool was closed due to repairs that apparently have not been completed for months. The ice machine had been broken and for some time, told 5 to 6 MONTHS. By other reviews so has the pool. No notice was provided when making the reservation that the pool has been closed for some time and continues to be closed. Sunday breakfast was non-existent basically. Almost all the food ran out 8/8:30 and only got the excuse the manager didn't supply enough food to serve breakfast FOR ALL who stayed at the hotel until the breakfast posted closing time. We went next door to McDonalds for breakfast. Each time my husband went down for coffee there were no cups or glasses for coffee or juice. He was told to go to the front desk and get a cup if he wanted coffee or juice. He did and grabbed more of both for others. He did this twice as no one else ever supplied the cups or glasses. Then there were all the dogs which kept barking, some fighting, way into the late night/early morning. Went down for ice at the front desk, due to broken ice machine, with a plastic bag and the attendant first only wanted to supply a couple cups. I got more. Really how cheap. Ice doesn't cost much and you felt you needed to ration it! Obviously the manager needs replacing. What you can't check on how many people will be staying at your hotel and be prepared for that?? Then there were the kids running up and down the halls. Perhaps if the pool was open they would have had better things to do. Just saying. Will never stay here again. Oh, by the way. Next door at the Red Lyon Inn our ball players stayed and they had a Great breakfast with lots of Great options and it was FULLY STOCKED. What a novelty. I think we deserve, along with others, a...
Read moreI cannot say enough good things about the front of house staff here, I would give 10 stars if possible! We were in town for a busy baseball tournament weekend and we had planned ahead and had booked a hotel nearby the Sleep Inn. The other hotel we checked into was awful and disgusting and I frantically called around to nearby hotels not having any luck everywhere was sold out. I took a chance and called the Sleep Inn, they had one room left. Not only were they friendly and welcoming, they let me check out the room and pool first before booking. We really needed two rooms for our family size but, they gave me all the extras we needed to make our stay comfortable. They also graciously held the room for me until I packed my family out of the other hotel. The Sleep Inn was so clean and smelled wonderful, it’s a very basic setup but was perfect for our needs. The pool was perfect, an indoor pool with a hot tub, both very clean, and just what a tired baseball player needed after a long day of games. You can also tell how much priority guest safety is here, all the doors had entry only for guests and only certain times for side doors. Inside the rooms there also was two locking options, the hotel parking lot is lighted and clean, giving a you a sense of safety and security as well. The hotel has a great complimentary hot breakfast, and is near all the restaurants you would need, Dennys, McDonald’s, Taco time, Dutch Bros and Starbucks, no need to drive even you could walk over. The hotel was pet friendly and had lots of green spaces for the dogs to go potty. I was also grateful that even though it was a pet friendly room it definitely did not smell like one, (like at other nearby hotels,)it had no odors or stains in the carpets. Thank you so much to the Sleep Inn staff, you are amazing and saved our family trip! Would absolutely come...
