My favorite seating in a wood-fired #Italian kitchen is right in front of the action 🍕🧱🧀🍴 “Casual eatery for wood-fired pies, pasta dishes, cheese curds, and beer” 📍 107 W Van Emmon St, Yorkville, IL 60560 #fyp #Pizza #Illinois #Foodie

Came here around 4:30 on a Friday, no line, got seated immediately and our server (the bartender) was great! She knew the menu well and was able to direct my wife and I to her favorites. We both got pizzas, cheese curds and drinks. Pizzas were good, but the cheese curds were AMAZING, they’re odd small cubes of cheese unlike any I’ve had before but were very good. My wife had a house white wine and I was recommended by our server to try a peach sangria they were testing out. This sangria was PHENOMENAL. If I were to put anything on the must try menu for anyone coming it would be the peach sangria and cheese curds. The guy I believed to be the owner/manager said they were going to be adding the sangrias to the menu in the coming days so by the time you read this it should be on there.

My husband and I visited on a Friday evening. We were seated quickly and immediately greeted by our amazing server, Allie. EVEN IF the food hadn’t been outstanding, we would be back for the friendly and personable service Allie provided! She gave amazing recommendations and our side salads were served promptly. I feel silly raving about side salads but the dressings and ingredients were fresh and so good! We shared the steak risotto (cooked perfectly and great quality!) and the pesto chicken flatbread (if I had to eat one pizza the rest of my life it would be this combo of fresh tomato, sauce, pesto, and well cooked chicken). This was the best service and meal we have had in months!

My Fiancé arranged my 40th dinner celebration here. We had a large group (24). This was all of our 1st time there. Everyone at Parma was professional, helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is a hip rustic chic where you are comfortable enjoying a meal with the family or a date night dressed to the nines! A fun experience being near the pizza oven and watching the magic happen! The food was AMAZING! From classic flavors to gourmet spins on classics, even the pickiest of eaters in the group left full and satisfied! We had the meat and cheese board. A great conversation starter and a wonderful introduction to the quality and diversity of Parma’s flavors! The House Chopped, Parma Salad and Chicken Caesar were all fresh and tasty. I am not sure which I could say was my favorite! We ordered almost every pizza. Now I wish we ordered every one! Aside from people’s personal preferences, everyone loved every slice they had! I didn’t try them all, but they enhanced the flavor experience with what is typically my go to all time favorite “ Goat Cheese & Sundried Tomatoes”. The desserts were beyond delicious. Know that the cannolis are very authentic tasting so they are not very sugary. They are light and airy with just the right amount of sweetness. For those that want the sugar impact of traditional American style desserts, the Mount St. Parma is where it’s at! Every single person in our group said they would come back again. THANK YOU AGAIN,...

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant for the first time tonight, but promptly left soon after we were seated. Shortly after we sat down, our server came by to take our drink order. Her mask was down around her chin, and not anywhere close to covering her mouth or nose. We stated we needed a few minutes to decide on our order, and watched as she continued to serve other patrons on the patio while not masked. Being concerned, I went inside to quietly ask management what the mask policy was (while I was inside I saw another employee improperly masked). The manager came from the back to speak to me, and he had NO mask on at all- using his excuse of being in the back for not wearing one. He did not attempt to mask up to while talking face to face with me. He said policy requires employees to be masked outside while interacting with people. 2 of the 3 ppl I saw were masked, just not our server. When I casually pointed out who had been helping us, he used the poor excuse of it being her last night as to why she might not be following proper policy. To this man's credit, I did see him remind the employee that she needed to pull her mask up. I returned back to the patio, but at that point, we were not confident that proper safety precautions were being taken seriously. We thus decided to take our...

Great date night! Food was good. We ordered a bottle of the sangria, which is advertised as a sweet dessert wine. It was sweet, but if you're like me and you expect very sweet, youll be surprised to find it is actually a bit dry. I would've gone with a moscato if I'd tasted it first. We ordered the primavera pizza and were very pleased with our choice. We added prosciutto to it, which was great because it is a very sweet pizza. The red sauce is very sweet, and with the sweet balsamic glaze without that salty prosciutto it would have been too sweet and I dont think I could've eaten very much of it. The prosciutto unfortunately lost most of its salty flavor in the oven being overcooked. It would have been great if they'd thrown it on the last few minutes just to get it warm so it wouldn't have been too done. Because it was overcooked it was no different than cut up ham. The crust was great. Nice and chewy. Exactly what you'd expect from wood fire grilled pizza. Lastly, we ordered the cannolis. I have found that I do not like cannolis. My husband said they were exactly how cannolis typically are. They were crunchy, lots of chocolate chips. Sweet ricotta filling. I was not a fan. We also both agreed the cannolis were way overpriced. Anyway, I would definitely go back and try something else! Overall,...
