Very bad quality and terrible experience. Placed online order (just $25 bucks worth total of toasts and empanadas) through their own website which gave an estimate of 15 to 20 minutes to be ready. I arrived 20 minutes later hoping to get in and out quick to pick up my order which had already been paid in advance with 20% tip. The place was not busy, my order was not ready and they apparently didn’t have my ticket printed to prepare it. I patiently waited while they prepared it. they actually found an item from my order laying around which had actually been prepared, but by then it was cold and I had to ask for it to be warmed up. The staff dealing with me was not friendly or apologetic at all. She hurriedly handed me a bag and told me everything was there. I decided to check and sure enough I was missing an item. Staff member again not very friendly at all even though the place was not busy. Upon getting home to enjoy the food I found that they gave me the wrong type of empanadas and the ones that were correct tasted horrible the ham and cheese empanada had absolutely zero cheese and was completely dried out. Also items which I had paid for optional extras like extra butter which they charged me $0.50, came without any butter whatsoever. When I returned to the bakery 20 min later to try and kindly address the issue, the same staff member was equally unfriendly, immediately cut me off as began to walk her through the receipt and uneaten items which were wrong per the receipt or visibly unappetizing. She turned away mid sentence, popped into the back area, came back out front, and said the manager would be giving me a full refund for my entire order (including the items I had no issue with, something I didn’t even ask for). She said I have to call back in a couple of hours to check if the refund has been processed to my card because they wanted to wait until the morning rush was over (there was no one waiting to be attended in the bakery) so I was forced to leave without any refund or replacement food. I used to like this bakery, but the subpar food and service is hard to stomach considering there are 173738260782 bakery’s around Miami including one a couple hundred feet from this very location (Moulin Rose). The staff member’s pride seemed more important than fixing what should have been a minor issue, on top of the additional waiting and inconvenience of having to come back. Will not be coming back and will have to follow up with them to get the refund solution they abruptly...

Read moreAwful experience. While placing my order, I heard a woman yelling aggressively at the employees. I later realized it was the manager, Elina. She was not only screaming but also making physical threats. It was disturbing and unprofessional to the point that I felt bad for the staff, left immediately, and will not return.
I honestly hope the employees report this to OSHA or even consider civil action, because no one should be treated this way in a workplace. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for decades and have never seen such open mistreatment of employees in front of customers. It makes me think that behind Elina’s smile is hostility waiting to surface.
I rarely leave negative reviews, especially where hardworking employees are involved, but for the sake of the community I feel compelled to share this. I hope this reaches the owners, who I’ve heard are very kind people. I strongly suggest they take action, because this type of behavior could cost them more than just a customer. It also reflects poorly on the hiring and management...
