Denny's — Restaurant in Kendall

If 'negative' stars were an option...I would rate the service -10. When entered we sat on the left side it had 2 tables occupied. The opposite side had 3 tables occupied. We sat down at 921pm. Our waitress came over and asked us if we wanted something to drink? The 4 of us asked for coffee. The coffee finally arrived 15 min later...less one cup because she was 'making fresh. I asked her we would all like to wait for fresh coffee to which she replied, "oh this is fresh but the other side had some too." The coffee was far from fresh. Anyway... we placed our order...pretty simple orders build ur own slams...bacon, scrambled w cheese, hash browns, pancakes. The other orders were pretty much simple as well. Nothing extraordinary. It was now 10:20pm and we still didn't have our food. Approximately, 10:35 the food finally arrived...but wait not all of it. I was missing my pancakes, my mom's 9 grain pancakes (which were burnt) got to the table but not her grand slam. We waited another 5 minutes for her food to make its way to the table. When I questioned her about my pancakes she lifted the plate next to my nephews and said here they are. I said no those are his. She begrudgingly brought out 2 half the normal size pancakes and handed them to me. Mind you during all this time there was no show of empathy or update about the length of time it was taking to get our food.

Need less to say we will certainly not be visiting this Denny's again. Management and ownership need to do some serious retraining and hold these individuals accountable for hurting their business. Especially during these difficult times. There are many places and establishments out there that one has to choose from. If this Denny's management has no problem losing business please just continue to ignore your customer's feedback and allow employees ruin...

To the waitstaff and manager working on 12/02/2017 12:30AM and to the owners of the establishment: i visited and received horrible service. It nobody was managing the front and it took a while but okay its a busy night, i get it. Then it took 20 minutes from the manager to notice nobody has visited the table. 20 min to notice. He had a nice conversation with a waitress while staring at us ans the waitress and him argued as to whos table we belonged to. He finally gave up and came to take out orser. 35 minutes after entering the establishment. He looked at us and just said " separate checks?" Not an im sorry for the wait or hi good evening or how are you. I told him how we had waited a long time and how although we are a group of 20 year olds we dont deserve to be ignored and then given attitude.he looked at me and gave me his hand in a "shut up i dont care" manor and walked away without another word without an explanation or letting me finish my statement. He made no attempt to make our experience better. I understand if its busy and you guys were short staffed, but it was the attitude and utter disregard for the restaraunt patrons that irked me to my core. As a service worker myself i am appalled by our treatment and his handling of the situation as a person in a managerial position. He was a horrible role model to the rest of the staff. I do plan on calling in the morning to file a more formal complaint as this is...

We arrived about 8:30am on a Friday, the place was deserted, I should have considered that a red flag but didn't, we were told by a yelling server behind the counter to sit wherever we wanted, as soon as we got a table a realized how run down this place is, it was filthy everywhere (see photos), I can only imagine how the kitchen is..... Our server came over and we ordered, the food came on time, but when approaching the table I noticed one of the sausages was out of the plate in the tray, I asked for it to be replaced, less than 30 seconds later the server came with the same sausage in a plate, impossible to get a fresh one in so short time, so we didn't consume it, my wife's cup of coffee had lipstick on it so we also asked the cup to be replaced. The food was average but I'm really concern it might be a sanitary hazard due to how filthy this place looks like. When we arrived there was only one person attending the place, not sure how many inside the kitchen, I wonder the service will decline with more occupied tables due to the lack of personnel.
