So we have been going to Teajito for over three years since it is in the same shopping center as my daughter's dance studio. It all started well, like any other new business. The place was cute and clean, and the prices were always on the higher end, BUT what made it rewarded was the loyalty program. Lately, service could be better; speaking from someone who goes there 3-4 times a week, service has deteriorated tremendously; I have witnessed several incidents where customer service is not at the highest of the business priority. They discontinued the loyalty program without any notice for recurring customers, AND they now require you to make a $15.00 purchase to avoid a credit card surcharge. It used to be $5.00. Otherwise, they operate on Zelle and Venmo basis. When I asked the cashier about the minimum credit card purchase, he said it has always been the same amount ($15.00) which I did not appreciate his dishonesty, considering he sees us there all the time. I guarantee you it has not. The place has also gone downhill, always dirty and outdated in decor. There are so many other cute and cleaner places that, for the same price, you can get outstanding service for new and loyal customers. Lastly, let me mention that the last time I purchased a coco taro slush, I saw the girl preparing it and serving me just half the cup, and the other half was pure cream. She was with a spoon eating off the blended cup the leftover (I have pictures but not posting them for her privacy), so not only did I get more cream than coco taro slush for which I paid almost $10.00 with all the fees, but seeing her through the glass touch prep cup was disgusting; so after this and more, never again at this...
Read moreI come here often and have introduced this place to all my friends and family because it's local and adorable. I've never had an issue until today. There was a clear miscommunication between the person at the front and I on my order. I don't do well with confrontation so I agreed to their policy of paying 1/2 for the replacement drink, but the attitude from the person just really bothered me. I added that I would pay the 1/2 price for my replacement but wouldn't return to which they replied: "that's fine." At that point I just said thanks and walked away without my drink. The person who I believe to be the owner made things right, but I won't be returning to avoid another run-in with poor customer service. :( It made me feel so disposable. It's about principalities. The owner seems lovely and the teas are really tasty which is why I'm giving this place a 4. They need customer service...
Read moreI was so excited to try this place as it has so many good reviews and the drinks looked very good on the photos. To be honest the drinks are good but costumer service was not so great, the girl who took my order (blonde bangs, young girl) repeated my order so fast that I couldnât follow her and she missed one drink. When I asked for recommendations because was my first time there, she basically read the menu. Then when she gave me the drinks, told me I could order in advance so those could be ready for me⌠I didnât have any issue waiting, there were no costumers and the order came out fast, but it sounded like they were bothered by the amount of drinks in the order. Even when your product is the best, costumer service is the face of your business and you may lose more because of that, and this is my case, wonât be...
