The Chinese Restaurant is a classic. It’s been around since the 90’s ranking best Chinese takeout in 2008-9. The food is standard Chinese with their own magic twist that is uniquely theirs. Their specials are what gives you the most for your buck and if business is anything to go by then everyone else agrees too. If you choose to eat in house know that it’s like eating at grandma’s house. The food is homey. I will say, I’ve been coming here for some time and today I did notice a change in the food. The rice grains were different, and the egg roll also tasted different from usuals (can’t decide if this is good or not yet, but I will update this review based on a future visit) There are many locals that you will see come in and eat. You find comfort in that. The place inside is often quiet, sort of like an unspoken rule, so I’d suggest adhering to it because everyone likes it. Beyond that if you meet the owner he is a gem, super kind and always willing to strike a conversation with you. My favorite dishes are the orange chicken, Mongolian beef, sweet and sour chicken, and their wonton soup. Their service is not super fast but not incredibly slow either, I’d say it’s calm comfortable and I think it speaks to their whole aesthetic.

We've been going there for many years, but we've noticed lately the service is really slow so if you're hungry, expect to wait to have your order taken, then expect to wait for your food then expect for 2 people @ your table to get their food and wait another 10 minutes before the rest of the food finally comes out. They don't come refill your drinks or ask if everything is OK either. It seems there's one waitress for the whole restaurant most times. They do give you decent servings, however, The place could use a make over, and it's definitely not a place to take a date. They have the TV blaring out of the ceiling speakers so if you don't understand Spanish you have no idea what they're saying on television. These pictures are of chicken lo mein, beef lo mein, and shrimp with lobster sauce & fried rice. The combo meals also come with two spare ribs, which are pretty good, a soup and an egg roll. We'll usually go there when we're craving Chinese food since the ones and our area closed down. The combo meals are definitely the way to go for the price. But expect to wait for your food to make its way out of the kitchen for everyone at your table.

Ordered from here yesterday 06/11. Got the family dinner for 2 which included large wonton soup, 4 Spareribs, 2 Egg Rolls & large Roast Pork Fried Rice and 2 main dishes of our choice so we got the Szechuan chicken and Mongolian beef. Also got Crab Rangoon, and a 2 liter sprite soda. Full order came to $58. Thought it was a very good deal! Little did I know. I never had food this bad. The rice was completely spoiled. Slimy and smelled really bad. And the Szechuan Chicken and Magnolia beef was literally the same dish!!! Just one was beef and the other was chicken. Had these two dishes a hundred times before at other places and never did I have it made with so much Vegetables before and barely any meat. The flavor was technically a vegetable beef & chicken stirfry. Crab Rangoon didn’t have any filling at all. The flavor of everything was just horrible and that fried rice was spoiled! Ended up throwing everything in the trash. Very disappointed because we had just gotten off a super long flight and this was the first meal we had to eat. Never again, do not recommend! Wish to get my money back!

I’ve been ordering from this restaurant for years, and it used to be one of the best, great food and reliable service. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case.

I called today from work to place a delivery order for my daughters, who are home without a car. I asked about a family meal with honey chicken, and the woman who answered seemed rushed and unhelpful from the start. When I asked if the family meal came with egg rolls or sides, she told me no—and that anything additional would be extra, including making the rice fried into just chicken. I went along with her suggestion and placed the order.

I told her I was ready to pay with my credit card over the phone, but she said she didn’t need it at that moment. I explained that my daughter wouldn’t have my card on her, and she asked if my daughter had Apple Pay. I wasn’t sure, so I asked if they could just call me when the food was delivered so I could pay over the phone then. She said that would be fine. I even repeated the order to confirm and double-checked about payment again, and she said yes.

Over an hour and a half later, I called to ask what happened with the delivery. She claimed I never said I wanted delivery, which was the entire reason I called in the first place. She then blamed me for not giving an address or phone number—though she never asked for them, and I’ve ordered before, so they already have my info. When I tried to explain, she got defensive and started raising her voice. I stayed calm at first, but I admit I got frustrated too, and raised my voice as well, as I was just trying to figure out what went wrong.

It’s really disappointing. The customer service has gone downhill, and the warmth and professionalism that used to make this place special seem to be gone. I hope things turn around, but for now, I won’t be...

This used to be an exceptional restaurant in the past, but their product and service is now a consistent disappointment. We have tried to continue ordering for the past year and each encounter adds to the misery. The food is continuously overcooked in old strange-tasting oil to the point that it is either too hard to eat or just plain burned. The egg foo young gravy is always so lumpy that it looks a brown large pearled viscous tapioca pudding. Then there is the service... I placed my regular order through a popular delivery service and it never arrived. I did not receive a call or text, but got a delayed email saying the order had been canceled. I still wanted dinner so I drove up to the restaurant to place my carryout in person. I explained to the young lady why I had to come up there. She cheerfully explained to me that the restaurant had suddenly become very busy and when that happens she cancels/clears out all the online orders to prevent the cooks in the kitchen from becoming overwhelmed and making any mistakes preparing the remaining orders. She genuinely pointed out that her solution to handling the restaurant's rush time was pure genius. I didn't have the heart to argue with her. I simply no longer...
