I recently had breakfast at Don Criollito Restaurant and it was an exceptional experience. I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
The breakfast menu was impressive, offering a variety of traditional dishes that looked absolutely delicious. I decided to try the classic "Huevos Criollos," which came with perfectly cooked eggs, savory fried plantains, and a generous serving of rice and beans. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the combination of textures was delightful. The coffee was rich and aromatic, complementing the meal perfectly.
What truly stood out was the attention to detail and the authenticity of the food. It was clear that Don Criollito Restaurant takes great pride in serving high-quality, traditional cuisine. The portion sizes were generous, leaving me satisfied but not overly stuffed.
Overall, my breakfast at Don Criollito Restaurant was a wonderful experience. The delicious food, friendly service, and cozy ambiance make it a place I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great start to their day. I will definitely be returning to try more of their enticing...
Read moreTERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOOD! Iam Venezuelan and wanted to eat patacon relleno. Never visited this place before. So i went thinking i was going to have a great experience. 1st of all place was totall empty (not a good sign) it was disorganized) but well... i ask the girl in the counter for a patacon relleno and let her know it was my first time there. Waiting at the table i could hear the people from tge kitchen talking so loud, could almost hear all the conversation. I though how unpleasant and unprofessional. Well when the patacon came it look ok. But as soon as i tried to cut with the knife it was hard as a rock. Not even with both hands i could break it. I called the only waitress there and told her that the patacon was not fresh and show her how hard it was. She said to me that it was fresh lying in my face. She ask in the kitchen but they didn't wanted to give me another one. Other customers starting arriving an seeing me so dissapointed they told me that i was right that it was not fresh. People grom Venezuela needs to change when they come here. In the USA customer comes first. Is not a good business to try to deceive people like back in Vzla. (Never going back...
Read moreNew update March 13th, 2024: DO NOT GO HERE IF you had been going here for many years!!!! Spent over $20 on a lunch just to leave with a bad taste in my mouth... Only had a cheese arepa and a beef empanada because those were the things that were ready and I was in a hurry. The arepa took almost 10 min to get and it was SERVED COLD and tasted a day old. The cheese was the wrong so it made a mess. The meat in the empanadas tasted weird PLUS the empanadas dough is completely different than it used to be :( I AM SO SAD!!!
Update again in Jan 2023: Things seem to have changed a bit. It is still good but not sure if I will keep coming here:/
Always good. Getting a bit pricey for me though BUT if the quality is maintained it is worth it. *Update: they are making the empanadas significantly smaller and raised prices again :/.... $4.50 for a 16 oz passion fruit juice made from frozen mix is steep! My total for two empanadas and juice was $12.85 + 1.00 tip since I did take out= $13.85 & I was still hungry so if I would have gotten a third empanada my total would have been over $18... makes me think I prefer getting sushi...
