We ordered 3 ramens - spicy tonkatsu, beef ribs ramen, chicken chashu tonkatsu ramen. The appetizers really made the meal and I would go back just for the buns. *The food was also packaged very securely and their to-go bags are really nice.
The ramen was good but I wouldn’t recommend the chicken chashu, it looked and had the texture of deli chicken, so get it if you’re into that. The beef ribs were the absolute best with the meat seasoned near perfectly and cooked well, with the meat falling off the bone. The noodles were a tiny bit stale and the broth wasn’t very rich or incredibly flavorful but still somehow tasted good. The ramen included corn, seaweed, 1/2 an egg and bamboo sprouts. The egg was deliciously jammy and the corn was just okay, it tasted like it was added from a can to the broth rather than cooked and softened in the broth. Seaweed was a nice, fresh addition to the soup and I liked it. I wish there were more seaweed and just a bit more flavor in the broth itself.
For appetizers, we ordered the spicy Korean fried chicken buns - the house sauce was creamy snd spicy there was kimchi in the buns and it was so flavorful and spicy. The chicken was delightfully fried with a bit of crunch, and the buns were soft and fluffy. These were a 10/10.
We also ordered the gyozas and they were nicely crisp with a good flavor. The sauce was a great addition.
Would 100% go back for the appetizers - not so...
Read moreI know there's good reviews so far of this place, but I unfortunately have to give 1 star. I expected better and have had better ramen. Both my boyfriend & I had the calamari appetizer, and Tonkotsu ramen for dinner. Then at night, we both felt super bad. I had a really bad stomach pain and a lower abdomen pain that didn't go away until mid morning. The first sip of the soup tasted good, but then as you eat it, it's way too salty. Ramen doesn't have to be so salty, I've had other ramen that isn't so badly seasoned. The noodles were also really basic and looked like store bought noodles that you can get next door at Publix. The egg didn't look appetizing and the pork was pretty average and gamey. The presentation also set me off. I guess they're trying to make it more fast food like? The bowl is disposable. This felt more like a place you pick up your food & go because it was so empty. The tables aren't that inviting because there's no condiments at the individual tables & you have to get the napkins at the counter like a cafeteria. The only good thing was the lady attending us at the counter, who was very nice and respectful. Other than that, they're using a lot of space there for nothing. 0/10, do not suggest going, bad quality ramen, very average, and can obtain better ramen elsewhere without feeling like crap some...
Read moreMy daughter and I ate here the other day. I've been meaning to try this place since it opened. I like to support local businesses whenever possible. We both had the chicken & steak hibachi with the fried race and it did not disappoint. The steak and chicken were tender and flavorful. The service was outstanding. The lady that took our order was very friendly and our food was served pretty quickly. My only disappointments were that the food was served on disposable plates and soup and salad were in takeaway containers. I understand the use for delivery, but not eat in. The decor was a little sterile for my taste. I wish it was more welcoming. That being said, I would still eat here again and have told friends and family to check it out. On a side note, they also serve beer along with...
