Cookie Cookie Ice Cream — Restaurant in Kennedy Township

Walked in and we were the only people in line waiting to be served. A woman came over and stood there staring at me for about 2 minutes and then would look away when I looked at her. I figured she was waiting for her coworker who was finishing a sundae for the only other customers in the place who were now sitting down. Then they started taking the orders of people behind us who came in after us without ever saying hello or asking if we would like to order. It was so incredibly uncomfortable lol. Eventually we asked if we could order and the girl said yes and my boyfriend ordered a milkshake and then they took the order of 2 more customers that came in after us, before allowing me to give my order. Just a strange and uncomfortable experience overall. My wife and I were just here visiting for the first time and we were blown away by the whole experience! The owner was absolutely delightful. She has so much passion for the business. She was extremely happy to share with us everything they do. A small business that not just makes phenomenal ice cream, mouthwatering cookies, local and delicious coffee but also gives back by giving peoples with special needs the opportunity to learn a craft in the kitchen. She allowed us to try almost every ice cream they had, and would have allowed us to try them all if we wanted. We even had some unique flavors that haven't made it to the display yet. We couldn't help ourselves by taking an extreme amount of flavors home for the family to try as well as some cookies. I like to compliment you on your ice cream shop it is by far one of the best ice cream shops I have ever been to. Personally had the banana ice cream with the peanut butter cookie. That is to die for.

Everybody here had something different I tried the brownie oh my God. I was also very impressed with the fact that the cookies are made right there as well as the ice cream.

It is the best ice cream I've ever had.

The other thing that does warm my heart is the fact that you are giving special needs people a chance to show what they can do. I was very impressed with the person that took my order stayed with me and completed my order without having to hand it off to somebody else.
