Wendy's — Restaurant in Kennedy Township

My kids attend DEW middle school, which is right down the road. When we have school functions to attend, this is my 1st choice of stops for a quick meal...that being said, my last visit has changed my mind about which restaurant to choose. They were out of ketchup. Yes, ketchup. The person who took my order failed to inform me of this until after the order was already prepared and bagged. I had to stop at the convenience store nearby and pay $3.50 for a bottle of ketchup just so my kids didn't have to eat their already-cold-fries without ketchup to dip them in. Additionally, he forgot to give me the drink that came with the meal my son ordered. As he was walking away from the register, I kept saying "excuse me...excuse....um, excuse me...." and my 12 year old looked at me and said "I don't think he's coming back". My son was correct, the associate did not hear me (or simply did not respond)...regardless, he never turned back around. Since I knew that I already had to add a stop for ketchup, I didn't want to wait any longer for him to realize I was trying to get his attention. We left, and as soon as we got in the car, my son said "I've never heard of a restaurant being out of ketchup".

My parents stopped at this Wendy's after a Dr. visit. Made an order to go of 2 BBQ cheeseburgers, 2 chilis and 2 drinks. Menu says, BBQ sauce, onion rings and cheese. They get home, burgers have no onion rings and instead contain pickles. My mother calls the restaurant to tell them about the mistakes. Speaks to the manager, he tells her "If you ever come back, we'll make you 2 new ones." She says I'll be up. Get there and there are 7 employees working. 3 cars in the drive thru and one customer at the counter ahead of us. Our turn. My mother explains she called and the Mgr knew immediately what she was talking about. He grabbed he receipt and walked away. 5 min later he comes back and puts 2 sandwiches into a bag. He says they're made correctly now. The onion rings are in there and the pickles. She tries to explain that that was part of the problem, the menu doesn't say pickles. The Mgr on duty asks which sandwich she is talking about. She points to the menu directly behind him where it clearly says Cheese, BBQ sauce and onion rings. His answer... The menu is wrong! If i was the owner i would be so embarrassed. SO DISGUSTING. picked up my mobile order, ordered an original chicken sandwich and this is what i got. Definitely not what I ordered, but I wouldn't eat it even if it's what I did ordered. This food literally looks foul. I've never went to wendys and had food look like this. The unprofessionalism was insane. They had a child (that knew a worker) running through the parking lot in and out of DRIVING cars. I am so angry this is what I had when I got home and opened my order. I got fast food so I would have time to eat something between work and an event. Instead I didn't get to eat anything because when I tried to call to see if they could make the correct sandwich for me to pick up, no one would answer the phone, i barely had time to go back as it was and honestly didn't even think I wanted ANYTHING from there at that point. Not surprised no one answered the phone as I'm sure they were too busy **ing off with the same friends that were there when i was in there.
