Godfather's Pizza — Restaurant in Kenner

Made an order for two mediums and garlic bread on a Saturday through the website which stated it would be 30 minutes. We arrived 30 minutes later to be told it would be 30 additional minutes which was disappointing because we timed this to get on the way home. But we understood and said we would drop some things off at home and come back. About 10 minutes later they called and said the order was ready. We had already made it home but couldn’t unload or our food would get cold so we had to leave again and come back. It was all just terrible communication. When my husband went in to pick it up he said the girl working the counter was extremely rude and tried charging him again and argued when he stated that not only did he show them the payment info when he came in the first time, they gave him the receipt. Really wanted to be a regular here and support the business but to pay higher prices and have all these issues it just isn’t worth it for us.

For the food we got it was $39 for 2 mediums and cheese garlic sticks. The humble pizza was pretty good, the other was half cheese and half pep which we didn’t care for and the cheese sticks were dry. Probably due to sitting there waiting on us to make it back...

For all of the people deducting stars due to price: you should know the price before ordering. Yes, this pizza is more expensive, so just have higher expectations.

In my opinion, this pizza restaurant let those higher expectations! We had a meat lovers pizza of some sort, they made sure each slice had an entire slice of bacon. We also had a taco pizza, which was a unique twist that was executed perfectly!

Service was great, everyone was kind and pizza was promptly prepared. Perhaps this is because the restaurant is new, or they can afford to keep the restaurant well staffed due to the expensive pizza?

My dad said he remembered this pizza as a kid so I had to try it out. I can definitely say this place did not disappoint. I ordered and picked up in 30 minutes. The pizza customization let's you pick between 3 different crusts. (I love the golden crust). My family is usually an extra cheese type however even with regular cheese it is more than enough. Everyone loved jt and we even have leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
