I don't know how, but I came across this delightful place by accident. I guess I was craving my sweet Irish Grandmother's cooking. But, here it was at Keegans. I have not been to the place personally, but have ordered delivery, and both entrees I ordered were magnificent in terms of Irish cookery and seasoning. I love the Irish Spring Rolls! They are absolutely delectable and to die for! The well seasoned combination of generous corned beef and cabbage comes together in a sweet fusion with the spring roll coating and the 1000 Island dipping sauce. I loved it so much, I had to order it again! The Pub Chicken reminded me of the love and care my Grandmother put into her cooking. The chicken was hot, and the mashed potatoes were wonderful with significant portions of butter as I had requested. Even the green beans were cooked to perfection with bits of savory garlic. I devoured half or it and saved another portion for the next day, and experienced the wonderful culinary sensations all over again. Tonight, I ordered meatloaf and mashed potatoes with garlic and butter infused spinach. Oh this was so delicious. Again, I think Keegans must have a team of elderly Irish Grandmothers working in the kitchen. The taste took me right back to her table. The meatloaf just melted and dissolved in my mouth! So it is now my mission to check this place out in person, have a pint of Guinness and perhaps take a sneak peak back in the kitchen to see what kind of magic makes the food from this place taste so unbelievably...
Read moreTo be a Pub House-style restaurant in Kennesaw, I expected something different. But you’ll have changed my mind about visiting Pub style restaurants from here on out. Admittedly, the food was nothing short of five-star quality, and I found myself wanting to try everything on the menu because of how creative it was. I ended up ordering a few things I'd never tried before and was blown away by the well-seasoned flavors and presentation. What stood out to me though was the customer service!! The waitresses smiled throughout my entire visit. Plus, they were very knowledgeable about menu recommendations. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my experience was nothing short of exceptional. They were friendly, and attentive, and made me feel like a valued customer. To top it off, the music was great! The playlist had a great mix of genres that added to the ambiance of the restaurant. And let's not forget about the drinks - they were strong and perfectly crafted. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a unique dining experience. The food is tasteful and seasoned to perfection, the customer service is off the hook, and the overall atmosphere is just top-notch. Big shoutout to the owners for providing such amazing service to the...
Read moreDropped in over the weekend to grab some food to-go to take home after running some errands in the area. There were a bunch of rave reviews for the fish & chips. We got an order of Irish Springs Rolls (which are ALWAYS delicious), and two orders of the 3-piece fish and chips which is quoted $15.95 on the website currently. When my husband got in to pick it up and pay... each fish meal was $17.95... which, I'm sure the website just hasn't been updated, but they were NOT good. The fries were barely cooked and the fish was super bland and tough. I know what people think "Well, not everything is good to go". No... these fish pieces had no flavor and ... just... no. We love Keegan's but it was a huge disappointment to spend that much money and for it it be almost inedible. The tartar sauce though! That was delicious. Not sure what happened to the fish that day... all the reviews of it had us...
