Today was my first visit here. Upon arrival, the open sign was turned off, so I wasn't sure if they were open or not since it was very dark inside. I saw a few cars in the parking area, so I decided to see if the front door was unlocked, it was, so I walked inside. I received no hello or introduction from anyone, so I walked further inside and asked a waitress in the back room if they were open, and she replied, yes we are. I wanted to walk out at that very moment, but decided to see how things might go. Things went from bad to worse. The back room where we sat was 61 degrees, and quite chilly. I mentioned to the waitress, it's a tad chilly in here, and she replied, I think she turned on the heat, whoever she was, I have no idea. The food was barely warm, and tasteless. One of the worst breakfasts I've ever had, and one of the worst dining experiences I've ever endured. When it came time to pay the check, I walked up to the register and i could see the cook in the kitchen leaning against a wall on staring into his cell phone. I'm still waiting for about 3-4 minutes looking all around and taking pictures, in amazement that I'm standing at the register with a lady who I'm assuming was the owner is sitting at the counter less than three feet away from me staring into her cell phone just like the cook in the kitchen, not realizing ot concerned that i was standing right next to her taking her picture as she was unconcerned that a customer was there trying to pay their check. I made a little noise, and she looked over, and she said oops, and proceeded to get up leaving her phone on the counter to finally assist me so I could my bill and leave. Here are the pictures to showcase my dining experience today. The only thing I can say, and I've said this many times before, if you cannot respect your customers, then you do-not deserve to have any. Learn from your mistakes today, or be willing to suffer the consequences for your actions tomorrow. Have a...
Read moreWe enjoy finding new places to eat and found this place. First, we were told to sit where we liked, after sitting we were TOTALLY ignored for 10 minutes! It was not like the place was big maybe 12 tables and no one saw us, we were intentionally ignored by specifically the two ladies that were over 50 years old, finally got the attention of the younger lady when she wasn’t busy at her favorite table chit chatting like she did our entire visit. Second, there were 2 other parties that came in and were immediately followed by those ladies and they were given the menus without asking or waiting, The food, presentation was horrible, took a long time to get to us and it was certainly not worth the wait, it’s very difficult to mess up breakfast food, there idea of hash browns was boiled potatoes, sausage biscuits taste like flour and eggs Benedict sauce looked and tasted like cheese whiz was added, powder sugar in the plate. When we were finished with our meal our server was again at her favorite table talking, we waited 10 min before we got up to go pay, she never noticed us 3 tables away. We get and wait at the register she still stood talking at her favorite table who by the way had been finished eating long before we did. At this time the two ladies that ignored our presence finally said something to us hahaha. They asked for our bill that we didn’t have and then asked what table number, like we are supposed to know that, our server was still at her favorite table talking, and we still left her a 20% tip on the table, they printed the check, we paid and left never to return...
Read moreI had such a bad experience here today. They used to be so good I was upset. I ordered a cheese omelette, soup, and a side of sausage gravy. The omelette was not cooked all the way the yolk was literally seeping out of it. The home fries were burnt, I hurt my gum trying to bite into one of the pieces. And the sausage gravy i couldn’t eat because it was for the home fries. The only thing i could eat was the white toast. The soup had cold spots and was curdled I’m not sure if it’s frozen or refrigerated but even my 8 year old mentioned it. I’m guessing it wasn’t warmed up properly. I mentioned to the waitress what was happening and she asked me to shh because she didn’t want the boss to hear and she said she’d “tKe something off the bill” she brings me the bill and mentioned she took off a soup and the cup of sausage gravy. I was visibly upset but I didn’t want to make a scene so I paid, and no I didn’t tip I’m sorry. When I went to the register the lady who I’m presuming is her boss yelled something at her and she said “see what I’m saying” I walked right out and literally literally threw up on my way home. My kids pancakes were also burnt, she took one single bite. But obviously it wasn’t worth mentioning. I feel as though they should’ve paid me the $45.28 for wasting my time and...
