I purchase from Mcdonald’s quite frequently from this location and the last two times I had my order messed up so I just let it go and didn’t want to complain because I figured it’s busy.. Stuff happens. I’ve worked in customer service for over 12 plus years and so I am very experienced in how to handle an upset customer and You don't treat customers who show respect to employees. I have been in their shoes so I sympathize with them. so I had purchased the kirwin Frost Big mac meal and a QTR pounder meal on 1/2 a little after 6 pm and I arrived home and the Kirwin Frost meal did not have the figurine in it. Since this is the third time this location has messed up an order of mine I decided to call this location and let them know. When I got someone on the line, a young sounding kid who claimed to be a manager was quite rude to me after I tried to explain what had happened. He had cut me off while explaining to him what I bought and he apparently did not listen to me because he said “ a Quarter pounder doesn’t come in the Kirwin meal so I had to tell him the second time that I had ordered 2 meals and I repeated it to him “2 meals” and how the figurine did not come in the box and with the amount I paid for that vs just a regular big mac meal I am highly upset and he told me and I quote “ I cant do anything about that” then I asked for corporate number and he said he didn't know it and he muttered something that sound like he told me to google it and I said what and He told me he didn't know corporate number off the top of his head. So I asked his name and I had to repeat the question because he hesitated. So he told me Mathew.. which I highly doubt that’s his name but if it is.. Mathew shouldn’t have been in a managerial role because apparently he is still too young and immature to handle a manager’s role. His customer service is terrible. He is rude and telling a customer that he can’t do anything about the messed up order is not trying to fix the problem. You want customers to keep coming back and you don't act that way. All he had to say was I am sorry and come to some sort of compromise. I would have been happy with just an apology but his attitude shows he is still immature and he is not ready to be a manager nor ready to be put in a customer service position. I think working in the back cooking is a better fit for hi and not serving customers face to face. I probably wont go to this location ever again due to poor...
Read moreAt Kennewick Ave specifically, they are getting the 1 star. At this location I ordered from the app and realized I was at the wrong location (Clearwater), I then proceeded to call the right location (Kennewick Ave) and on the phone the staff told me how to cancel it from the app I do appreciate that, but it said it was already being processed and it said not possible to cancel and gave me a pick it up text with the location, and so I did just that and drove to the Ave location. When I got there they tried to tell me it was never in the system, I had the name of the order, the number of the order, was looking at the app that clearly said that location, and instead of taking the time to care and admit something might have gone wrong, the (what I assume based on the uniform) manager proceeded to give the attitude he could not care about a nearly $35 order just magically not existing and somehow at the same mansplain to me literally everything coming out of his mouth. He also proceeded to walk away from me after he asked to see the app. The restaurant has 1 table filled and everyone was eating already, there was 1 car in the drive through, you can't seriously tell me you where busy when there where many workers in there. What I found interesting about this was the fact the app said someone had prepped it (the reason I could not cancel) meaning someone had to click something for that, which they then decided to either not make or lie about making it, in which case whatever occurred they should have asked for the name of the order upon giving it away (if it was made) which they didn't if that is what occurred, otherwise they would have realized besides the phone call to their location. It is crazy how I just got off the phone with somebody about that order but less than a few min later it is magically never in their system. I can't do anything but rant in a review either cuz customer service for the app and corporation requires the receipt but since I never got any of my food I did not have that. Well done Kennewick Ave will never go there again, one on Clearwater (a few minutes away from this one) gave us far better customer service. Never have I ever had such a worse experience at a McDonald's and I was pretty much raised on McDonald's so I have been to many of them to say the least, none I have never been this offended from a other than at the Kennewick Ave McDonald's, the mansplaining was crazy on a...
Read moreWhen we arrived it was busy and that was fine. But then after we had already waited a long time due to the business, a worker (who seemed to be in charge since people were calling her ma’am) walked right passed my boyfriend and I to the two orders behind us and started inquiring about their orders and promised they’d prioritize it right away, then walked back passed us again without saying anything as if we are invisible. Then while waiting some more, we saw them start to put some of our food in a bag, then four people gathered, pointing at the screen looking in the bags confused. Then another 7-10 minutes later they put the rest of the food in and say it’s finally ready. So of course we count the items, but we see something we’ve never seen, some chicken crisp item instead of the spicy mchicken we ordered. So we then had to wait longer for them to make another item. It took about 35-40 minutes to get a 10-15 minute wait fast food meal. On top of all of that frustration, we get home and go to eat the fries first since we saw them put that in the bag first, and one box is half empty. Ridiculously empty. Not a Large meal we paid for. This is the absolute worst experience I’ve had with any food place. Also when confronting them about the mchicken the younger female worker was extremely rude and wouldn’t stop walking or look at us in the face when talking to us. Every single thing about our trip here was awful. If it was a few things, fine. But it was every single thing. And not just with us, we saw three other customers and two door dash drivers go to the counter for...
