Happy At the Bay Teriyaki #5 (Kent-Kangley) — Restaurant in Kent

Food is not impressive. Owner is argumentative and won’t allow substitutions. Just not worth the price. I ordered the large and it was in the same sized container as the regular ordered plate and was $30.00. Considerable price amount with no size difference in food portion. I won’t be back.

I contacted you to address the issue. Instead of simply apologizing and correcting the simple mistake for a customer, I was first told I had to come back for the refund. Was pretty disappointed as I ordered the fried calamari on line everything processed normally, however when i went to pick it up i was informed they were completely out, since my transaction was processed on line i was not offered any type of replacemenr nor was a cash refund not even mentioned, mind you i paid 9.99 for it, when 8 did mention it the worker offered to replace it with gyozos i reluctantly agreed and he offered to bring them to my car, so i sat in the car and after about 15 minutes and multiple sightings of him coming in and out for other cars my passenger said hey qhat about the gyozos and he said im sorry i forgot and he came out with a small sack reminiscent of a bag of marbles and off i went frustrated, i also ordered extra salad dressing for my salad included with my meal, to ny displeasure upon opening it i not only had no extra dressing i also had no salad, at that point i qas...

The driver was the only part of this order that was good. Breading on tempura, General Tso's and Sesame chicken was heavy and tough. Chicken was overdone on the Tso's and Sesame. Sesame chicken was brown meat, who does that? Chicken teriyaki tasted only of soy sauce, no teriyaki flavor. Lake of extra liquid where the stir fried veggies swam & Tso's + Spicy chicken teriyaki soaked (see photos). Salad, requested without dressing, served in drink cups with unwanted dressing shoved in with it. Requested 6 extra teriyaki, got none. Requested utensils and chopsticks, got none. Tempura veggies were bland and flavorless.

If I were there in person, I'd ask for a refund. Or I'd just walk out when they served me, let them eat their own dog food. Not sure why they are rated so highly. We...
