Pho 7 — Restaurant in Kent

I’ve been coming here for several years and usually order Pho. The food itself is decent compared to other spots in Kent, though it doesn’t quite measure up to the better Pho restaurants in the wider King County area.

Unfortunately, the service is what really brings the experience down. I often order online, and nearly every time there’s some kind of delay or mix-up when I arrive to pick up my food—even though I’ve already paid.

Most recently, I placed an order for Pho Tai Chin Nam and two egg rolls. After giving it about 30 minutes, I arrived to pick it up. When I gave the cashier my name, she just looked at me blankly, asked to see my order, and then went off to help new customers without acknowledging or updating me. Another online customer who arrived shortly after was treated the same way. It became clear that the orders had been missed, and only after we arrived did they start preparing them. I waited an additional 10 minutes in the restaurant, making the total time from ordering to pickup close to 50 minutes.

This isn’t an isolated incident—I’ve seen similar situations happen when dining in as well. At this point, it makes me hesitant to order online again, and maybe even to come back at all. That’s disappointing, because the food is fine, but it’s also pricey for the area. If the service isn’t dependable, it’s hard to justify continuing to spend money here.

I don’t enjoy leaving a negative review, but this reflects years of middling experiences and at least a few hundred dollars spent. I hope the management takes service more seriously, because it makes all...

The dining experience could be good if you don't have any dietary restriction a, but it might be avoided if do have some constraints. I recently started a new diet where carbs are limited. I made the brilliant decision to go to a Noodle place sure but the waitress just nodded as I asked for a salad without noodles, guess what the majority of my salad bowl was. Now one of the people I went with had food allergies and processed sugar causes them to break out and itch. They asked for grilled chicken with teriyaki sauce on the side, they got chicken slathered in teriyaki, with another cup of sauce on the side. So for the hour we were there we got 2 meals prepped incorrectly, a cup of water per person, and one pot of tea that could have been steeped a little stronger. The food we did eat was good but the service is a setback. If your looking for tasty takeout than this the place for you, otherwise don't expect a quality...
