J J's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Kent

First & last time customer. Some friends and I came in for a late night snack and some drinks and were immediately harassed by three of the patrons at the bar. One of them immediately from the jump ridiculed us for wanting to order food, exclaiming, "You know this is a bar, right?" Then called us some ableist slurs for wearing our masks. He said it to me, then twice to the man he was sitting next to. He then got up and walked to the other side of the bar to tell other patrons about it, and kept periodically looking back at us to make sure we knew he was going to keep targeting us as long as we were there. Two other patrons sitting next to us also were harassing one of our party members for the way their hair looks and would not leave them alone until they were extremely uncomfortable and had to verbally tell them to back off. At that point we decided we were better off going somewhere else and told the server to cancel our order. Our server was fine, if anything stressed about the patrons bothering us, but ultimately I don't think management did anything about the patrons harrassing us. I won't be coming back here, I also wouldn't recommend others to go here either if you're younger &/or queer. This is a fun place. Want to watch the game with other 12's this is where to go. Friday and Saturday is karaoke night. I would suggest on the cold seasons to not dress too warm because the fireplace will keep it nice and warm with the customers. Honey garlic chicken is bomb. Loved the fries which are real potatoes not frozen. Drinks are reasonable and he's got specials throughout the week. There's dart tournaments and a connected vape shop next door. Want to pay pool you can rent it by the hour. The energy of the place over all is fun even if it's just got a handful of folks. This is an ok little bar..... Main complaint was one of the regulars kept bothering me & my gal friend when the guys we came with went outside to smoke, even after asking him to leave us alone. The bartender also told him to pay no mind to us & let us play pool in peace, but he continued to wonder our direction. She nicely told us, "he's a regular, he means no harm," which was reassuring but in that situation it still rubbed me wrong how after we voiced our discomfort & he was asked to leave us alone and did not, he wasn't asked to leave.
