Sharetea Des Moines — Restaurant in Des Moines

I was so delighted that Sharetea opened a location in Des Moines. It’s my niece’s favorite chain of Boba shops.

The level of control that the brand offers its customers to customize our orders is an innovation of Sharetea. It’s so welcome as i am especially concerned with trying to be more responsible with my sugar intake and general food intake.

It proves that the enjoyment of my bubble tea has no reliance on an overload of sweetness. It also helps as the brand constantly is introducing new flavors and seasonal offerings.

Also, I fully appreciate their diversity of experiences - thank your for hot drinks! It’s sorely lacking at your competitors shops.

Oh yeah and the ladies that work here are super nice...

They have the best herb jelly, like it in a fresh milk oolong tea on a hot day. I sometimes have trouble getting them to make adjustments though. Had take a pic of and old receipt to prove that, yes, actually they could and have in the past put less non-dairy creamer and more tea in their Thai Ice tea to make it taste less sweet. In the pre-covid days it was also a cool spot to hang out, make sense cus it's the bottom floor of a college dorm. Unfriendly service. No smiles, no greetings, just a whole lot of scowling. Makes it very uncomfortable to even go there. There are better places out their with wonderful customer service. Only giving it a one star cause the teas are decent. Edit: Read some other reviews and it looks like customer service is an issue period staff definitely needs better training with how to deal with their customers on a day-to-day basis.
