Katie's Korner Ice Cream — Restaurant in Kent

My family has been long time patrons. That will no longer be the case moving forward. Just pulled up, and asked for Sponge Bob popsicles. Young employee was nice/cordial at first but wasn’t making that much sense as to why they were out of popsicles. I asked if they had any in stock. Answer was yes, no, and then maybe. I then asked well do you have the minions you still have a picture for. Short answer was “no”, and she acted irritated I asked for them even after she said she might have some. I then asked is this permanent or temporary type of deal as my kids only like the popsicles when we go. Again she didn’t have an answer and stated well maybe next delivery we will have stock. Again, acting a little flustered irritated that I even asked a question to figure out future visits.

The end attitude of the employee is one thing, but to not have a sign up or info saying you are completely out of popsicles it just plain dumb and asking for issues as frequent customers are used...

It was a brisk June morning, I walked up to the window to get me and my 6 kids ice cream. We went to Katie’s often and never had a problem, but when I got up to the window I was greeted by a young girl that had a horrible attitude. I asked for seven orders of the sugar-free ice cream which was available on their menu. When I kindly asked for it the young lady said “Ma’am we do not have sugar-free ice cream but we should for people like you”. I decided to just get the vanilla soft serve. I’ve never had any lactose intolerant issues but when I arrived home I had just as much as a bad experience as I did at Katie’s. I never had a problem with any of the staff from a few months ago then I do now. Please take this seriously, I was such a loyal customer and...

Love the ice cream and the prices and the hours. They are open late and works out when everyone else is closed. And found out they are starting to serve ice and hot coffee's in the morning at 6:30. I think I have found my new ice coffee spot in the morning. And you can have milk shakes on what ever flavor ice cream you want and it's home made and smooth and creamy. Love the people there. They are friendly and will help you out if your stuck on a flavor. Defanetly should stop by there and try them out....
