I saw an ad on Facebook where Pita Pit was offering a $10 gift card so I wanted to give them a try and decided to sign up to get the gift card. I sent the link to my boyfriend as well and the process didn't take long and you get your gift card sent quickly! We stopped by on Friday around 6pm and it seemed like business was going smoothly as there was pick up orders from delivery services and a family of four being helped by the employees. I do enjoy that they cook the meats or your choice of vegetables as not many places offer that and a good grill can really add a robust flavor to your meal. I went with a build your own gyro as I'm not a fan of brown rice quinoa, while my boyfriend got the hula teriyaki with steak for his bowl. I'm very impressed with the selection of customizations here and it is always nice to be able to choose what you want. They also can fit quite a bit of ingredients without tearing as I like to overstuff my gyro with all sorts of yummy add-ons. I tried the schug but it wasn't really spicy at all and I couldn't really taste it, but the tzatziki was delicious. My boyfriend enjoyed his bowl and I love the hula teriyaki sauce, it has a very fun tangy flavor. The service here was friendly and professional. There was a couple with a dog who requested a side of meat to be grilled for their dog and they were happy to accommodate which I think is stellar. The inside of the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. They had a nice selection of bottled drinks and brownies that looked delicious. Definitely wouldn't mind trying them out again! They also have a dog...

Love Love Love the revamp of this location. I first tried Pita Pit in Eugene Or, in 2001. I looooved it. I travel a lot and always get excited to see Pita Pit (CO, OR, GA, FL, NC, CA annnd WA. Although the DuPont one is gone). I also force friends, family and co-workers to try it when I can lol annnnnd so far, no disappointments. I came to the Kent location a few years ago when I moved here and was very disappointed; service was SLOW and not friendly, and the quality was not what I was used to, and the pitas were tiny, not stuffed like other locations. It was actually not good. I tried 3 times; each time being more disappointed. I even called and emailed to complain about the service and food on my 3rd visit but never received a response. So, decided I wouldn’t go back to that location. A few months ago I saw a coupon and ad on Facebook. To be honest I warned people not to try this location. I was greeted by the store in a response stating that there was new ownership and was provided a credit to try them again. Reluctantly, I did, and WOW…what an improvement!! The staff is always friendly and smiling. It smells good, is CLEAN, and the ingredients all look fresh! And let me tell you, THIS is the Pita Pit I love! So YUMMY! A bit pricey buuuut I understand the economy. Just think $8-$10 is more reasonable. I’m back to referring friends/co-workers and happy to indulge again. THANK YOU to the new ownership and staff for turning this location around...

I ordered online and was directed to pick up online orders through the drive thru. I got to the speaker and told them I placed an online order. They directed me to pull up to the back door and they would bring it out. There were other cars back there so I had to sit in the drive thru lane for the bank. I sat there for 5 min then a car trying to go to the bank needed by so I had to pull up to move out of the way but then I was blocking the people that were picking up their order from the drive thru window. At that point I had to drive a few spots down in order to get out of the way. I called the location and told them I was blocking the back. She stated that my pita would be out in 2 min. In actuality it took 4 min. Every single person that was in the drive thru line got their pitas and left, including 2 cars that showed up after I told them I was there to pick up. Also, when you order online it automatically adds a tip and you have to manually take it off, which is kinda shady. I think the system they have for picking up online orders during COVID is obstructive and dangerous. The pita was good which is why I gave...

The good: clean. Tasty (if they get your order right). The weird: you don’t get to give directions at the counter to customize, which is the standard Pita Pit experience. (See photo for where fillings should be but aren’t.) Also, they don’t have the special sauce???? The bad: Ordered in person at the counter. They still got my order wrong. I didn’t believe the reviews before I came. “It’s a Pita Pit,” I thought. Nope! It’s possibly an okay restaurant if you’re happy to play roulette with your order, but it’s not really a Pita Pit experience.
