I have been a loyal Starbucks customer for years because of the brand’s reputation for consistent coffee and friendly service. Unfortunately, this location does not meet those standards. The quality of both service and coffee often depends on the shift. For example, my experience with employee Rozy has been disappointing she does not greet customers, preparing even a simple Americano can take over 10 minutes, and drinks are left on the counter without being called out. Even the taste of the coffee here changes depending on who is working, which should not happen at Starbucks. After leaving a review about this experience (with a photo included), the store manager approached me during my next visit. He told me that such a review was against Starbucks policy and asked me to remove it. I explained that the employee was on duty, my feedback was genuine, and customers deserve to know about the service at this store. Instead of addressing my concerns, the manager implied that I could be refused service if I did not comply. This was shocking to me. A company like Starbucks should value customer feedback as an opportunity to improve, not pressure customers into silence. Unfortunately, I now have to go to another location for my daily coffee. The attitudes of the people employed there just seemed to get worse and worse and I am sorry when one is spending good money daily and receiving surly treatment in return uh uh not for this chick! Today however after receiving a gift card I thought oh well have to spend it sometime I went into this store at the Lowes parking on PCH. I approached the counter expecting the usual but there stood Rin to take my order. A big smile a great greeting and my order was kindly taken. Then on to Ben the barista who made our drinks who also did so nicely and delivered them to me with a smile. Finally they open at 6 and one of the girls is shaking her head at me her name is (OTI)like I’m in the wrong waiting for my drink… oh excuse me I’m sorry I’ve been waiting for 15 minutes not sure of what’s going on and they pretend like you aren’t there . Finally I was able to get ahold of the other girl that Was nice at least and told me yo go through the drive through and OTI the other girl was shaking her head at me again!
