Sunset Motel — Hotel in Kent

They raised my rent this past Tuesday 100.00 more a week so now I Have to pay $ 450.00 a week that's $ 1800.00 a month. The owner hasn't cleaned my room or changed my bedding since I've come back from the King's arms Motel it's been 3 months I've stayed here for a year and a half before Mr Singh from the King's Arms Motel at hard me full time as the new general manager I need a security I had to live on site I was on duty 24/7 I haven't had a day off in 9 months and they refused to let me go to church on Sundays they made themselves unavailable to me for 3 hours then I would be going to church I was not allowed to have friends over or church members for Bible studies or just to visit.. In March of 2019 Mr Singh what time in the mornings and tell me not to rent anymore rooms to black people I asked him why he replied because her dirty and there's too many people going in and out I continued running to anybody that walks through those doors I don't care what the skin color was We're All God's Children it came down to it that they screwed my door shut all my screen doors how's the unable to leave my premises other than going through the lobby if I had a kitchen fire I will be stuck 3 Days Later Mr Singh had the maintenance man baka screenshot and my screen door 3 days later mr. Singh approached me told me that Pam from The Sunset Motel needed me to work there at nights and I'll be working at King's Arms Motel Gurnee days that's no problem he told me to pack all my stuff he's take me back to the sunset after I unpack my stuff at the Sunset Motel got me my old room back get paid for a week $350 I went to the office and ask him what my schedule would be they had no clue that what I was talking about I told him that Mr Singh told me that you needed me here at night and I'll still work there during the day they said no they said nothing about that so I'm back to my room I called Mr Singh and he said I was terminated because I continued renting the rooms to the black people my last check-in was at 4 a.m. April 9th 2019 the gentleman what's block and his wife was white I gave them room 128 Mr Singh and his son Capri came in between eight 8:30 that morning saw that I run it's more rooms to black people Capri 1/2 the room 128 and told them they had to leave because they're getting ready to do some work which was a lie we already done at work a week before Mr Singh and computer talking about getting rid of all the black families are after I left he brought me here. Since I've been back in the Sunset Motel I was told I'm not going to have any visitors and if anybody shows up they were to go to the office show ID and pay $20 I assume is that including my Bishop in church members free Bible studies they said no they could come in for free it's the other people that they're charging $10 a head or $20 a head they refused fight read twice they've threatened to evict me. I was just recently diagnosed with LYMPHEDEMA in both legs and feet they are swollen and VERY Red from my knees down to my toes they are burning Hot like my legs are on fire and they are numb and swollen and painful and my toes and feet turn blue.. The first time it happened when I was at the King's Arms Motel it lasted 6 weeks the second time it started it was worse and lasted almost 3 months they went back to normal for 3 days now they are swollen again and my legs are burning hot like they are on fire I feel my skin tearing from the outside and feels like the inside too and I get welts up and down my legs.. Mr Singh brought my final check to me girls made up for $257 for my last 10 days hour 22 hours a day Monday through Thursday party Saturday Sunday I'm on the clock until early Monday morning at 4 a.m. that's what I go to bed and wake up at 8:30 in the morning and start my day again Mr Singh told me that he took the money out of my check for what they paid for the motel room without my consent or my knowledge I've called L&I they told me I had to call Human Rights services I called Jesse Jones for channel 7 I called a law firm then I got a text...

This business must have went on here and put their own comments because this place is anything but clean when it comes to hygiene The Beatles the bed bugs the body lice the leaky air conditioning the Cockroaches and the sewage leaking from the toilet this place is anything but very very clean and the lady at the front desk / the owner is anything but nice she's very rude very unhelpful and very antisocial and actually we stayed here for an extended amount of time cuz we had no other choice at the time and she bought new air conditioning units and refused to give us one she refused to install it until after we left when ours did not work at all the whole time we lived here and when was it ever 85 this lady charged me 105 a night not to mention my vehicle was also broken into and they said they couldn't see anything on the cameras and upon talking to several other tenants they went to the same experience so what I recommend this place...

$75 plus $10 key deposit. Room had steps going into it so it was difficult to maneuver. Clerk had to come turn on tv & said if we turned it off, he'd have to come turn it back on again. The ref. Air was next to the baseboards so I had to get down on hands & knees to turn on & adjust. No plug-in for bedside lamp. Night clerk had to bring it over after I walked to the office because the phone didn't work. TV is parallel with bed - not real cool. Place is clean. No ice machine - he said he wouldn't use the ice out of it if there was one. Stopped on our own - not thru trip advisor - so no one to blame but ourselves. Manager was nice but kind of nonchalant about my questions...
