I’m back! Back for fresh fried pork aroma wrapped in the sunshine of last bit of summer days, along with this always friendly smile of Dao Thai street food.

How can I not be back?! Look at these lined up prawns, more than half consumed already, dipped with extra flavorful straw mushroom all in a soup heavy of galangal roots and lemongrass touch. This is not your coconut milk down soup tossed with pathetic tomatoes. This is the real deal of Tom Yum which help heating your stomach and mesmerizing your tastebud. Even chewed 2 pieces of galangal roots which took me back to Chiang Mai instantly.

And this golden crunchy little juicy pork? Who doesn’t want a piece of it and dive into the deep green cilantro sea? So one spoon of rice top with pork and next spoon of Tom Yum Goong, “surf and turf” served in a southeast Asian fashion!

P.S. Be sure to pick the right level of spice, I picked level 4 of my Tom Yom soup and the flame was on!

P.p.s. Saw the pic of “pink boat noodle” on one of the windows, do you guys also have that??? —————————————————————

The best Hainanese Chicken Rice (T1) in town with every piece of meat is dark meat and partially skin on( HOORAY!!! ), of course they have white meat option just make sure to ask for it.

For the second time we forgot to take photos, but Fried pork w/ garlic on rice (T9) is a very niche item for pork lover with the carefully selected part of pork meat (half lean half fatty)covered in a thin coat of flour and deep fried, just dip in the green (tamarind?) sauce that comes with, no grease, just peace! 10 out of 10 for any pork lover!!!

We’ll be back to try their stewed pork leg on rice (T3) and Pad kha Pow ( stir fried Thai basil) next time and hopefully my consciousness of photo taking kicks in before I land my guilty...

I have only ordered take out twice from here so far, but have been very impressed with how quick and delicious the food is! I ordered on GrubHub first and got their Pad Kee Mao with 2 stars spice level to test out how well they cook one of my favorite noodle dishes. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of vegetables and meat to noodle ratio and they definitely made sure to accommodate the spice level as well! I chose pork for my protein option and it was tender and cooked perfectly. My mom took a bite too and said it was pretty good.

The second time I ordered was through DoorDash and I got the Kao Mun Gai (or Hainanese chicken and rice). Again, I received a perfection balance of chicken, rice, sauce, cucumbers and soup to enjoy a great meal. The chicken was super tender and it was heavenly paired with the soybean ginger sauce that had fresh chilis that added a pleasant kick to the meal. I never had Kao Mun Gai that had chilis so just be wary for those who can't handle spicy. I am looking forward to hopefully dine in the future as the food from takeout has been pretty phenomenal! I also see that many reviewers mentioned that they are pretty accurate with the spice levels so I will take it up a notch for my next order as I love spicy Thai food. Definitely worth ordering from whether you are dining in or...

Aroy Makkkkk !!!

Delightful Delicious affordable Thai food I have ever tried in WA. Very casual home cook style and variety you can choose on the menu! Very recommended “Pork Jerky” from appetizers. It’s good with either rice or sticky rice OR even by itself 🤤

Tom Sabb also very good soup with herbs and fragrant. Me and my friends got Seafood Tom Sabb which we got shrimp, squid, mussels.

Spicy chicken Salad also highly recommended! Every spices and herbs blend well together and som little crunchy from roasted rice will hit your mouth.

All I can say is this place will make your mouth drool 🤤 such a gem and comfort Thai food restaurant in Kent that worth to visit. Absolutely not gonna be disappointed 👌🏼 Originally Thai taste in town. Confirmed by a...
