We went to the hotel from the airport, around noon. We were hoping to be able to check in early but would understand if we couldnt. We booked the room through priceline. Got to the hotel and they couldn't find my reservation. Priceline said they get the confirmation from the hotel not sure who was at fault, but after some back and forth with the hotel and priceline they were able to find my reservation. The hotel says that check in is at 3pm. The man at the front desk said that check in wouldnt be until at least 3:30 or 4pm...maybe later, he could tell me when the room would be ready becayse they only had 1 person working in house keeping. We leave to visit with a family member and return about 5pm. The man we spoke to earlier was not there. The woman who was working assigned us a room. We went to the room and it was filthy. There was food splatters on the wall by the stove, rusty burners on the stove, food scraps in the sink drain, beard clippings in the bathroom sink, used bar of soap in the shower, table was sticky, there was dust balls and bits of paper on the floor. We wiped the phone and the clorox wipe was almost black. We requested another room. The woman at the front desk was very apologetic. She attempted to find us another room but said the hotel did not have any other 2 bed rooms that were clean. She said that if we give her some time, she would clean a room for us. We told her we were going to dinner and would be back. When we got back there was another person working the front desk. She took me to the new room. It was not perfect but was cleaner. There were no dishes or cookware in the kitchenette, but we could purchase a " kitchen kit" from the front desk. There was a sticker on the fridge that stated they would clean the room 1 time per week, if we wanted the room cleaned more often, then they would gladly do it for a $10 fee. When they came to clean the room, the guests would be expected to bag up the sheets from the bed. It also stated that they would give clean towels once a week, if we wanted towels before then, we could get them from the front desk. There were 3 in our party and were given just 2 sets of towels. It stated that they would pick up trash daily, but we ended up taking our trash out. Our room was never cleaned during our stay (we stayed 6 nights). The hotel did not seem to be lacking business. The pictures on the website are very misleading. The grounds are very dirty, trash ion the grassy areas, an old tire NY the bushes, trash cans in the halls were overflowing. There floors in the halls were sticky, elevator floor was dirty. It may have been a nice place in the past, but has not been kept up. The one good part about the rooms was the bed. The mattress was very comfortable. I wish I could rate the accommodations and the staff separately. I would give the front desk staff a much higher score. They were apologetic and tried to make things right (short of offering a refund). Hey did not give us attitude when we requested a...
Read moreProperty was horrific. Trash everywhere and grimy. Front desk Staff was uninformed and untrained in handling issues. I booked my room online and got there 30 minutes before my room was ready. Front desk told me that my room would be ready in 30 minutes. I went shopping for food and got a call that they would not have a room for me because they were overbooked. I just spent $60 on groceries, so I called the online booking agent. They online booking agent called me back stating that the front desk made a mistake; they thought the cleaning staff wasn't onsite. So I get back to the hotel and received my key and walked my family to our room. The property looked decent from the front, but my room was on the backside, which look a lot worse. Im not even going to judge the people on the property but the there was graffiti, trash and stinch in every hallway area. Entering my smoke smelling room, I noticed a broken bed, paint chipped walls with snot, blood and other grime on them. My bedding had multiple cigarette burns, and stains. Stovetop was dirty, ac had no lid and filled with dust. Fridge was marked up and filthy inside. Random spats of blood on walls. The place was nasty, so I immediately went to return the key. Front desk Staff told me because I paid cash that she couldn't give refund, and if I would of paid with a card then it would have been easier. So I had to wait till the morning for the manager. I left my key with the front desk and they agreed to have the manager "call me" in the morning. I paid $150 for a room I did not use. So I found a room down the street at Red Lion that was 10 times cleaner and just $12 more. The next day at 2pm I received no call so I went to the property. I saw the "manager" outside on break, soaking in the sun rays. I explained to her my issue and showed her pics of my room. She seemed understanding outside, but once she got behind her counter, she acted like brand new. Only returned my deposit, with no compassion about what happened. She said not to use online booking, it's better to book at the hotel, because it would be easier to get a refund. Then she told me I was lucky because usually deposits are mailed as a check; as if she was doing me a favor by giving my deposit back in cash right then. I told her, mail my deposit but give me the refund for the room.
So DON'T GO HERE. IM NOT GOING TO JUDGE MANY OF THE FOLKS HERE BUT JUST BEWARE OF THE ACTIVITY AND TRANSACTIONS GOING ON THERE. PLACE IS DISGUSTING!! MANAGER CONTRADICTED EVERYTHING SHE SAID WHEN TRYING TO LIE ABOUT WHAT SHE XOULD AND...
Read moreThe hotel room upon arrival had a busted window screen and when we entered noticed the sliding window was unlocked. Im glad my boyfriend has experience in criminal justice because this place clearly is an easy target to get your property stolen luckily he locked it. Firstly, we walk in to dirt and coins on floor the entire hotel room was sticky and also we were super tired from flying from the airport expecting a clean hotel with clean bedsheets to sleep in. Guess what I inspected the sheets to find coins on the fitted sheets. Cigarette holes and a dirty sock that was not ours underneath the airconditioner. Oh wait it gets worse no bath towel and the 2 handtowels they provided I question if they were clean because of the condition of the room. Couple hairs in the shower which I dont care but the unclean bedsheets, dirty/sticky floor, thin stained pillow cases and dirty sock made us decide to relocate to a cleaner hotel with exceptional standards. We were told that we were responsible for the cleaning of bedsheets as there was no housekeeping at checkin and we tried to make it work by going to a Fred Meyer grocery store to buy cleaning supplies such as laundry detergent, swiffer wet wipes to mop the entire floor of the hotel room. They have a laundry room on site but guess what card reader does not work and good luck using coins because there is a coin shortage. The laundry room was filthy none of the pictures on the website are an accurate representation of the hotels current condititions. We asked for quarters from Fred Meyer to wash the bedding and they denied us due to the coin shortage. The whole complex is gross piss /poo on stairs and urine smell in elevator, graffiti, and as we were walking down the steps we saw a man pull out his pipe with his tin foil smoking crack or meth on the property. Do not book through them this is hotel hell. We had a battle them just to get refunded ofcourse we booked through Expedia so that made the refund process extra difficult but this hotel clearly has no standards to uphold to. We also contacted Washington Health Dept. who inspected the property and said that they noted that when they inspected the rooms they noticed issues on their cleaning protocols. So do not stay here especially in this day and age of Covid. This place obviously houses the homeless vagrants everywhere on the property. STAY...
