Bambinos Pizza and Subs is a really satisfying place to eat. I got the philly cheesesteak, and while it's not the best one I've ever had, it's the best I've had in the Paducah area.
Word of warning, all of the sandwiches from this place tend to be a little soggy from the grease, so if you don't like particularly greasy food, you might want to avoid the subs here.
I haven't had an opportunity to try the pizza from Bambinos yet, but I did try their jalapeno strips, which are basically cheesy bread with cut up jalapenos in it. When you are really hungry the jalapeno stripes really hit the spot, though for me their appeal drops off dramatically as my hunger decreases, though that may be because I don't particularly like large chunks of jalapenos. 🤷♂️ I would recommend you at least give them a try. The quality of the cheese and bread in the jalapeno strips makes me really interested in trying their pizza, because it seems like they would be able to put together one hell of a pizza.
As for the staff, they are polite, but a little understaffed I think; when I was there we had a hard time getting the cooks attention because it was busy in the back and there was no one else around to watch the register.
All in all, I would definitely visit Bambinos again, and I think you all...
Read moreBambinos pizza and subs is a great sit-down restaurant in Hopkinsville with a wide selection in its menu to choose from. The owner, Lee, takes pride in his food and the service his team provides to the customers. He always makes us feel welcome when we come to his restaurant and always has a smile on his face. The staff are very friendly, courteous and attentive to our needs with food and drink. The pizza is made fresh daily and the sauce on the pizza is unlike any other pizza place in Hopkinsville. Bambinos also serves beer and a wide choice of spirits to go with any meal they offer from wine to mixed drinks. If you have a craving for pizza, want to watch some sports while eating, and enjoy your time in a clean restaurant, I'd highly recommend this restaurant. You won't be disappointed. Lee always goes the extra mile to make sure his customers are satisfied. And if you don't feel like eating out, Bambinos...
Read moreStopped by to check our truck out after the semi in front of us blew a tire and rained tread all over our rig and look what we found! A little pizzeria stuck inside the small brick building that is the truck stop. Had a great conversation with the staff who were friendly and professional and we're told that they do their best to locally outsource all the ingredients on the pizza! The dough is hand tossed and is excellent! They don't short you on ingredients here either!! The owners are originally from New York so expect that style pizza here. Full of cheese and toppings on a thin crust. We really enjoyed our little pizza. It was a wonderful thing to grab a fork ( as it is loaded with toppings and deliciously greasy) and share a pizza in the cab. We were very pleased to find this little gem of a truck stop with this fabulous pizzeria inside! Also, no damage to the truck from the other drivers...
