Cass & Co — Restaurant in Kentucky

I found this little shop with a quick google maps search for coffee, on a road trip down to Florida. I don’t like going to big name shops because the coffee isn’t that great and it’s expensive.

I saw a shop name “Cass and Co.” and I’m pretty biased 😉, so I HAD to stop. This place is NOT just a simple coffee shop on no-no! This is a bakery, a lunch place (hot and cold options, everything looked so good) AND coffee!! I really wanted to have lunch, but not everyone I was with was hungry and they wanted to wait for a later lunch. So I opted to have an iced caramel latte and an iced (icing on top) shortbread cookie, for only $6! That’s such an amazing deal! The coffee is HUGE for the price point, and it tastes sooooooo goooooood 🤤. The cookie was also so delicious! Not dry and crumbly. If you look at my page, I review mostly coffee shops as coffee is my favorite beverage. It’s pretty much my favorite thing 😂.

The overall vibe of this place is so chic and modern. I’m from St. Louis so I guess the closest thing I could compare it to is McArthur’s Bakery. Cass’ coffee is WAAAAAY better.

I was excited to order a cake from Cass & Company after hearing great things. However, when I called, the woman on the phone was short with me because I didn’t answer quickly enough. When I asked why she was speaking to me that way, she became defensive instead of understanding.

I understand people get overwhelmed and busy, but that’s never an excuse to be rude. If business is that good, perhaps it’s time to hire someone who can handle calls professionally and kindly.

I’m giving 2 stars because I’ve heard the cakes are excellent, but I never got to try them myself. Based on the customer service alone, this would be a 1-star experience. I try to be fair—but how you treat people matters, especially when they’re calling to spend money on...

Had been driving all morning from florida, my names Cassie and saw this place, wanted to come grab cupcakes for my boyfriend as it’s his birthday was today and we’ve been traveling all day. Both ladies inside were very rude to me, I tried to ask about the birthday cupcakes and they were very rude and said they didn’t have them so I pointed to another and asked for that, also asked about iced coffee and she was too bothered to take my order so I let them know I didn’t want it anymore, I have never had such a horrible experience just walking in somewhere.. such a bummer!
