I ordered only for pickup. I went to the counter and gave them my order #988. I was told they did not have the order and was asked to give my phone to the worker, which I did reluctantly. He returned after 2-3 minutes with my phone and said they did not have the order and I needed to "refresh" my phone. I did as asked, showed him the order, then showed him the email receipt. He checks again and says sorry, we don't have the order. At this point, I explained that I ordered and paid and want my food. Again I am told it is not in their system and they don't know what to do. I tell them to just make the food so I can be on my way and they can deal with it once it is figured out. He says, "that's not how this works 'bud'". I tell him yes it is, make my order out of band, charge it as an employee meal, whatever, JUST GIVE MY MY FOOD. I get more pushback and he refuses to give me food. At this point he calls in a coworker. I am asked my name, and what do you know, my order is there, waiting and cold. I am given my food and while this is transpiring, I tell the young man that he needs to put the customer first, forcing me to wait, refusing to make food when I produce proof, etc., is not acceptable behavior toward a guest. I am then summarily dismissed by the young gentleman repeating, "Have a good day 'bud'". This really bothered me. I am not his 'bud', I am a customer and do not deserve to be...
Read moreThe drive through speaker barely works and does not inspire any confidence that the store received your order correctly. I couldn’t hear them reading it back and I would have gotten a large combo, but instead received a small. You should at least default to a medium if I don’t specify a size.
Then at the window I make a simple request: 1 packet of zesty sauce. I’ve never heard of having to pay for sauce before, but apparently it’s not included with my Impossible whopper combo. I have to pay an additional $0.15 if I want sauce. So after paying for my meal I hand my card back to be charged again. I get my receipt and card back and ask them to provide my original receipt while they’re at it. The cashier is new so needs to get the manager to help him re-print, and after all this confusion they hand back my card and two receipts and I never even got the sauce before driving away.
Not the end of the world and I still enjoyed my food but Christ. Just let me have a zesty sauce and don’t put me through...
Read moreThere used to be an African girl who worked there. Was usually a very positive experience. Her crew was great. Had been a while since I’d been. Went to drive thru the other day. They had some hot shot guy w/ a guy running the drive thru. He was terrible. He had EVERY car pulling around to the wait area so they could walk the food outside to your car lol. I went to the gas station across the street and watched—even if it was one car in the drive thru he still had them pull around after they paid and had a worker walk their food out to them. And my burger was still like warm. His disposition was just terrible. If I ever decide to return ill look to see if the African girl is there first. If I see that guy who was a clown, nope. Workers like him are the reason I’m hearing rumors of BK shutting down...
