Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Kentucky

This place has really gone downhill over the years. I stop in here at least once every other month or so and I have consistently had negative experiences. You would think that with at least a month or two in between visits they'd have corrected some of these errors, but - despite my hopefulness - I end up disappointed every time.

The last five visits I've made to this location, the rice has been undercooked; not even a little bit either, it's like eating completely uncooked rice grains. At one point, I even found a piece of plastic in my food from when the plastic covers weren't carefully removed from the prep trays in the store.

When ordering take-out through the app, I've learned to select a pickup time much earlier than when I expect to arrive, as there have been multiple occasions where my order wasn't ready upon arrival - even 5-10 minutes after the promise time. Whether it's take-out or delivery, you can often count on your food being so poorly wrapped/sealed that you have to clean up a big mess before even enjoying your meal.

Nearly every time I walk in here - even when it's not busy - I've had to wait at the front of the line. To be clear, I don't have a problem patiently waiting. However, I frequently find myself waiting even when there are 5+ employees standing around in the prep line not even actively engaged in a task. Of all of the annoyances I've experienced at this location, I think that one is the most baffling. It wouldn't be nearly as frustrating if an employee would at least acknowledge your existence and say "just one moment, I'll be right with you." Nah.. instead, you can just feel like you're invisible until someone decides to start working the line.

This isn't to blame any one particular employee for how this location is run. But I do feel that there's an obvious lack of ownership here and perhaps the staff at this location could use...

Ordered online for my girlfriends daughter, submitted order when we got to nursing home to drop off my mother in laws belongings. Mother in law ended up having a medical emergency and instead of getting to the resteraunt right at 530pm I got there at 600pm. This is only a 30 minute difference, I got to the register and told them I had an order and gave them my name, the manager said that I do not have an order. I pulled up the receipt and showed it to her and she said, " well someone must've grabbed it illegal remake it." So I said ok and stepped behind someone else that was ordering. She then stated, " yeah I guess someone picked it up i mean you did order it a lomg time ago so since it sat here someone must've picked it up". Had my circumstances for the day not have been the way they were then I probably would not be so pissed off about this, but I ordered online for takeout and who knows how far I had to drive, what is going on in my life, but she had one job, watch the carryout orders, check confirmation numbers, and yet some how I was the asshole because someone stole my order while my girlfriend was taking care of her sick mother. The kicker is when my step daughter started eating she said this really has a kick, well that's because they gave her the spicy steak that is on the menu and not the regular steak. Way to go lady, first you were rude, then you decided since I made you do your job that you would give me a suprise but instead you ruined a kids favorite meal. And sorry Sheldon, I had to come edit my review because I can not reach anyone besides pepper your robot that handles customer service, I don't want a complimentary meal, I would like for you to have your employees maybe do some sensitivity training or you could practice teaching them to talk shit after the customer leaves, not be a smart ass to their face...

I've tried to give this location chances but after 5 times of having inedible & sloppy food - i'm done. Everytime I've been there the workers seem untrained, confused & rude. One girl gave me literally half of a spoon of rice so i asked for extra rice she did the same thing so i had to ask her why she was only giving me tip of the spoon of rice when im going to get charged for extra? the burrito was SO TINY it was mainly just tortilla & it was around $10-$15 for one burrito?? Food was also very bland.

not to mention how DIRTY the place is. The place where the workers are making ur food it was COVERED in sauces, juices, & things from other peoples food. all & i mean ALL the tables were dirty, had trash on them, previous customers cups/bowls on them still, the floor was dirty & sticky. lettuce, beans & rice all over the floor. the soda station also filthy, sticky, trash everywhere. the garbage was overfilled you couldnt even throw ur trash away without the overflow of trash spilling onto the floor. Once the line of customers were gone i thought maybe the workers would start to clean up but no they just stood in the back & some even made themselves food & sat in the filthy garbage infested seating area with the rest of the customers. I will literally go out of my way to avoid this place from now on. I will drive to hebron or go all the way to florence. Do yourselves a favor & avoid...
