I now remember why my husband and I have not eaten here for over a year or longer. The service is not good and the food is very well over priced. Wishing we had just went to Waffle House down the road because we could have eaten the same breakfast for half the price and the servers would have been much more attentive. The food would have been much much better and edible. This Denney's needs serious clean up and someone who knows how to manage it, along with someone who knows how to cook. I order was not correct when the food came out. The eggs were so overcooked that they looked like a sponge and scorched. My husband asked for 1 over easy egg with a couple scrambled eggs. He got 3 or 4 eggs that was so scorched that you could not tell the difference between the scrambled and the supposed to be over easy egg. I got the omelet and it was so scorched that the egg could not fold over completely. I ask for Ham and no Sausage, but I got sausage and no Ham. The toast was not toasted much, looked more like sliced bread and had some kind of really cheap imitation butter on it. Some one from the kitchen came out to our table, assuming he was the manager, asking if everything was good and I explained to him that the eggs was scorched and not edible. He offered to re-cook our eggs, but at this point, we was not wanting them to recook our eggs and have to wait another 20 -30 minutes just for more scorched eggs. So I added gravy on mine and ate them because it help the taste. My husband just didn't eat his and ask to get pancakes in place of them. There was no apology or anything taken off our price and we ended up paying $40.79 for 2 people to eat breakfast, that was absolutely horrible. We were told they had a new cook. For this restaurant to be having so many issues, especially during the time we were there and hardly any customers were there, definitely there is a big problem with management and needs to be communicated with corporate. We will not ever eat at this...
Read moreI’m a professional driver & after sitting in traffic for over an hour, I was delighted to see a Denny’s. Walked in & stood at podium to be seated as the signage states to do. The waiter was literally standing 2 feet from me cashing a customer out. When he finished, he proceeded to ignore me & walk right past me. He then went on to get drinks from the kitchen, take a table’s order & then check on his other customers while I’m still just waiting to be seated. The girl at the bar looked at me, continued what she was doing & then proceeded to help the customer who got tired of waiting behind me & seated himself at the counter. When the waiter finally acknowledged me, he asks if I’m waiting to come in! Really?! Duh!! After asking if I want a booth or table & I respond that it didn’t matter as I’m just happy to be seated since the 2 servers had simply ignored me, he very loudly states that he’s been very busy! He then has the audacity to never even stop at the table he wanted me to sit at & just dropped the menu & silverware & continued walking back into the kitchen! Horrible customer service! I’m also a small business owner & I surely wouldn’t treat customers so rudely. And he was busy?! With COVID, everyone is seated at staggered tables & if 8 tables were occupied in the entire place, with 1-2 ppl at each, that’s a lot! Put him to work on my food truck on a SLOW day & he’d probably die of exhaustion! I didn’t even bother staying after that interaction as I’m sure my food would be compromised! Thanks for...
Read moreFood was great, Service was Amazing 😍 Our Server Regina was a gem, a hard worker with a great attitude. It was busy and food took awhile but there were a couple of larger parties & we could definitely tell everyone was working hard so definitely understandable. She checked in on us often, was friendly and trying to help everywhere doing everything. The young man that brought our food out asked if everything was good and if we needed anything else too. When the food came out we could tell that they care about what they are doing and everything was delicious. I got the red white and berry pancakes (had plenty of berries), eggs with cheese ( yummy!) sausage and bacon were cooked well not burnt& not undercooked. Kiddo had a ranch bacon burger that was half way eaten before I finished my eggs so needless to say loved that! I'd rather wait and have food and service that was cooked with care than something rushed (the food tastes different when there's no love/care in it) Only thing I would say could use improvement is wait times but I know it's hard to keep a good balance with enough staff (especially good staff) these days as we have seen many places. If I had to do it over I definitely would. I recommend this place but just have some patience and grace for those...
