I really don't like McDonalds food that much, but I go there occasionally and get nuggets and fries (which are only good about half the time). Mostly avoid it because half the time they get something wrong or it takes forever for just one thing, like a drink or an order of fries.
One time I Went in with a friend, she ordered a large frappe. They gave her a small so she looked at the receipt and realized they apparently weren't listening and charged her for as small as well. I heard her say large. This isn't the first time that happened, a few weeks before she ordered and paid for a large and they gave her a small.
Craziest thing that ever happened to me was when I was there once I ordered a medium hot caramel machiotto. I stand and watch the girl make this drink, thinking it's not mine because she didn't do it right for one, she stirred it the whole time and it's supposed to be a layered drink. So she comes over and brings me this hot drink, not even half full, in a plastic iced drink cup, it even had the dome lid and everything. The cup was almost too hot to hold. I look at her and ask "are you sure this is right?" She nods and walks away. I get annoyed, halfway thinking about drinking it anyways, so I go show my friend and we decide it's ridiculous and maybe even toxic because of the plastic. I go back to the counter and say "I think you put this in the wrong cup" she stares at it for what feels like forever, another girl walks up and they both stare at it and look at each other trying to figure out what's wrong. I tell her that "it's a hot drink and that it's not supposed to be in a plastic cup". Eventually she asks if I want a new one. So I say yes and she makes it wrong again of course and it's also not full. But it didnt taste that bad so I drank it anyways, complaining the whole time because no one has common sense apparently. How was I supposed to drink a hot drink with a dome lid? Straw? Also, what if I had picked the cup up and dropped it because it was so hot? And who serves a not even half full drink to someone? Who thinks "I guess the medium button on the machine only fills it up halfway" Shouldn't you realize then that maybe it's in the wrong cup?
In my experience, drinks are almost never completely full and food is only good about half the time. Service can be slow sometimes but not always. The main problem is that no one seems to be trained.
Since then they've remodeled though so maybe it will be better. I've been there twice, one time it was great and fast, the other just okay. Hoping they've...
Read moreSo look, McDonald's is an all American place. You can experience things here that you didn't know were possible. Long waits, rude service, and food that makes you violently ill! It's great if you're in a hurry because you'll have a legit excuse to be waaaay late for your appt.
It's awesome when you go through the drive thru and they ask you to pull up so they can wait on other people. You'll get to watch all the cars pull around and stare at you as they leave. Yeah, those suckers just don't realize the extra attention you're getting!
The best part is after you've sat there for fifteen minutes or so you can walk inside to watch the magic happen. It's glorious, all the people are standing around looking at each other. Some are wandering aimlessly behind the counter, either intentionally ignoring you or blissfully unaware of your presence. They are most certainly impaired by slow cognitive function or... something else.
When you see them finally toss those boxes in the bag - oh boy are you in for a surprise! It's the greatest McDonald's game of all, you can forget Monopoly, I call it "how long has my food been done-opoly." Today the magic number was ten. Ten minutes, according to that little tell tale tag on the burger box, since our sandwiches had been made.
That was unfortunate because I had wagered twelve and my girlfriend had nine so she was closer and I was forced to buy the Tums. Hey, at least the half full coffee had time to get cold while we were waiting, it just wouldn't be right otherwise you know.
In the end it worked out, we both ate the same exact thing and we both got sick! Unfortunately the joke is on her, she threw up all of the McDonald's she had choked down and I'm still sitting here revelling in the nausea 🤗. Bravo guys,...
Read moreI seriously wish I could give no "stars" ...... Today I went through the drive through and it was a horrible experience once they had my money in the drawer!!!! Ordered two of the double meat Southwest burger combos; one with a sweet tea the other with a large blue minute maid slush and child's Burger Happy meal with apple slices and chocolate milk...... Pull up to the second window after paying and first they start handing drinks through, The milk was right obviously The slush was in a large cup but only 3/4 full....I got a medium basically in a large cup lol The tea..... Geeze, It was urine yellow ugh!!!!! Pulled up some and decided to run in because of tea... The slush I could live with..... First they argued stating it was still tea and he ( the employee ) himself had tasted it because the color seemed off and he deemed it fit enough to serve.... Y'all tea is supposed to have a brown tint NOT FREAKING YELLOW!!!! Anyways they finally traded that out for a coke and handed out the order as well....I did check to make sure all the order was there but never did I think I needed to check to see if it was done....... Get home start handing out food. thankfully the Happy meal was in good passing condition but them Southwest burgers I had ordered came raw!!!!!!! Four patties of beef and not a single one was cooked through!!!!!! I'm the type that likes steak almost burned So of course to me raw hamburgers are just unacceptable!!!! Eat at your own risk..... I'm sure if they're serving raw burgers Raw chicken's being...
