If I could leave 0 stars I would. Usually I come to Miguel's and they do a great job, but today was the worst. My group and I came to the restaurant at around 5:30pm. We were waiting on two other guests to arrive but decided to get appetizers and order without them after waiting awhile. Whenever the appetizers came out, the quest was cold and had to be reheated and it didn't have any flavor along with the guacamole that was ordered. Once our food came out, my order was wrong and I notified our waiter, Elder. He came out with the boss (older woman) and she asked what my order was so that it could be fixed and told me it would be out within 10 minutes. Eventually the rest of our party arrives (2 guests btw) and I still hadn't received my order. Elder (the waiter) comes to take their order and I asked him about my food and said "I've been waiting for almost about 45 minutes for it to be remade. If it's not ready or being made, then I don't want it anymore." He said "let me go check." Once he comes back to the table he said "They never remade your order and can't make it because they're working on a party of 45 people." I then asked to speak to the boss (woman) and Elder said she can't come because she's cooking. I then asked to speak to the owner and asked if the older man standing at the door was him. He said "that's not the owner. He's a customer." My friend decided to go see if that's the owner and when she told him I'm having a problem with my order the owner replied "that's her problem not yours." I gather my stuff and go to speak to the owner and he says "You sent the guacamole back. What was wrong with it? Your food was being made but you didn't want it and all of our staff are working on the large party, maybe if your guest weren't late this wouldn't have happened. There's nothing I can do." I then said, "My friend sent the guacamole back and that was her order so it has nothing to do with me. The waiter told me my food wasn't made and couldn't be made. If my order was in the process of being remade I would have taken it. I come to this restaurant often and like coming here but today this was poor service." The owner still didn't have anything to say and didn't try to make anything right. Also, while I was waiting on my food to be remade, Elder didn't clear the table of cups or chip but serviced everyone else around us. I'm very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy waitress was very kind and accommodating but not even she could make up for the food. The item I ordered was not described properly on the menu , so I was confused when she brought something different to the table. I was told thatās what I ordered. But my waitress made no fuss about redoing the order the way it was described. Unfortunately even when it came back out it was bland and tasteless. The beans were completely void of flavor and Iām convinced the steak in the burrito had zero seasoning. Not even salt. The salsa taste more like catchup than salsa. The Queso was scalding hot around the sides and a solid glob in the middle of the bowl. The staff seemed overwhelmed, carrying plates around stopping at every table to ask ā is this yoursā. Most the tables weāre waiting too long on everything. The lady in the booth beside me tried 3 times to get someone to bring her silverware while she just sat and stared at her food. I feel sorry for the wait staff bc theres clearly no management or organization. My standards are not super high when it comes to Mexican ( Tex mex) So I honestly canāt believe that It wasnāt worth eating at all. I can deal with a lot of bs for some good food but the food isnāt good enough to overlook the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife, children and I visited Miguels on Friday, December 9th for dinner. I have been a patron of this restaurant in the past but I must say that the quality of food for the price has greatly decreased. let me preface this with the fact that our server was amazing and this is in no way a reflection of her efforts to provide the best experience possible. The salsa was bland and tasted like watered down tomato ketchup. My wife ordered chicken fajitas and requested no onions. When her order was delivered they had removed the onions and the green peppers as well. The fajita dinner was basically fajita chicken with the side of rice and beans. I ordered the combination (chicken, steak and shrimp) fajitas which were bland and only had two pieces of shrimp in the entire dish. The kids meals were very basic for children (kids beef taco and chicken tenders and fries). The fries were undercooked. Overall the experience was very lackluster. For two adults and two children our bill was $78.00 before tip. This was my wife's first experience with Miguel's and probably our last visit. I don't know what has changed since my last visit but the quality and value of this restaurant have...
