Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Kentucky

Tonight is the SECOND unpleasant experience we've had at Franklin KY Popeyes with the manager that was on duty tonight, 3/21/24, 7 PM. Here is our experience tonight... My wife went through the drive-thru and placed an order and specifically, clearly stated that she wanted a three-piece meal, dark meat thighs only, mashed potatoes and an extra biscuit. She received two legs and a thigh and no extra biscuit. She drove back around to the drive-thru honk the horn nobody came to the drive-thru so she drove to the window. The manager on duty came to the window and abruptly told her she ordered dark meat my wife was very angry and left without getting the order corrected by the manager that took the original order. This manager is rude, belligerent in nature, unprofessional and promotes a hostile environment. However the food that we received was good, but it was the wrong food and rude unprofessional unfriendly service. We would prefer not to do business at this Popeyes when he is on duty again. 😡 Today 4/30/24 2:30 PM the SAME manager is on duty. My order was taken wrong, inattentive, aloof cashier, manager gave me NO apology for the mistake. Upon correction I paid $3 MORE than I EVER HAVE for the SAME thing, large Red beans and rice and a regular drink. I paid...then after the correction from small rbr which was $7 I had to pay $3 MORE. THIS MANAGER IS ATROCIOUS RUDE INCONSIDERATE UNPLEASANT AS LONG AS HE'S HERE IM NOT COMING BACK. The other manager on duty, a woman, proceeded to give correction to the cashier in front of ME. I was embarrassed and she was too. WHERE IS THE PROPER TRAINING AND ATTITUDE FOR THE MANAGEMENT AND EMPLOYEES????!! IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE CUSTOMER SERVICE NOT CUSTOMER HASSLE!!!! RIDICULOUS when I was working I would have been FIRED for such poor consideration and work ethic. I think I'll just get a candy bar at Speedway next...

The manager on duty was horriable. We came in about hour and half before closing. Wanted a 12 piece milld. Was told they only.had white meat. We didn't care then heard someone in background then she SD were out. Asked for twnders. Said was out. We had to go to different place. Went back 2 days later earlier. Order a 16 piece meal..Asked for xtra napkins and the media grass musturd. With attitude a voice stated that it would be 25cent. We said that was OK we would pay 25 cent. Get to window. Woman had manager uniform on and was not friendly at all..Took.our money and asked us to pull up. I SD OK but please don't forget the napkins and musturd. Pull up and another girl (who was very polite)brings food right out and says "I don't know why she had yallpull up" hand us the food I say hold on let me check it. (Because came a few weeks before and forgot my biscuits)but she didn't hear and took.off. Look in bag. No musturd, no napkins. Husband goes in and ask for it from girl at counter she grabs 2 and hands it to him and manager with a very nasty attitude says those are 25cent and I saw her put one in. We say well weren't any in there and girl agreed and SD it's fine ..handed us the items, and we left. The manager is very rude, and obviously needs time management training and CS training. There is no reason a chicken place should be out of chicken or management to be so surly. If this Popey's keeps this up, they...

Besides the not so fresh chicken and the beans that tasted burnt, the staff were so caught up in each other that the guests did not seem to matter. Conversations about "I dont snitch unless it is going to hurt the store" to continue on to the young lady's (I am to assume is the manager) boyfriend/husband came in, placed a baby carrier on the counter, and engaged in conversation with her as she was picking my order. I guess she realized she was distracted eventually and got back to picking my order and to make up for the extra 7 minutes taken and unprofessional staff she put a little extra cold rubbery chicken on the tray. Popeyes has always been my go-to place for fast food chicken, as it has been on about every army base I was stationed during my career. But this one is a disgrace. I even intentionally waited for quite a while after they opened their doors so they could "work out the kinks". Guess I wil wait another good long never to see if it improves any. Anyways... 25 minutes later when I was leaving... manager and significant other still talking it up with baby on...
