Hot Head Burritos — Restaurant in Kettering

Me and my fiance eat here at this location at least once a week and its usually really good. But tonight the overall expierance and food quality was horrible. The 3 young men working didn't even act like they wanted to be there, NO customer service skills at all and that's just a pin arrival. The food on the line in the "customers view" honestly looked like it had been sitting there for days and containers dirty and have empty. Being that it was 5:30 p.m, in the start of ur dinner rush, u would be a little bit more prepared. I ordered steak and had to wait because they didnt have any on the line (good thing it was just my fiance and I in line) 2 of the guys went in the back and had to cut steak just to do my bowl and it took literally 15 minutes, as my fiance was standing behind me, the 3rd guy could have finished his burrito, but let it sit there and get cold instead. My fiance wanted the barbaco meat ended up getying the chicken due to the fact that the meat was so crusty amd so dried out, along with the rest of the meat. I wanted chips and queso but again it looked like it sat there for days not being stirred and drying out. I am the RGM of 2 Subway locations in Centerville and I am big that my food prep area ALWAYS is fresh and clean looking. Knowing that its the beginning of dinner time, they need to make sure that they are greeting each customer when they walk in, making them feel like they are important to us, on top of making sure that the entire line is presentable, with fresh product or flipped pans, fresh food, and definitely a CLEAN area. Leaving another review because our previous contact got no response, no phone call, not even an apology, even though they commented on it and asked us to contact them. No manager is ever working at this store and everyone claims no one knows how to give a refund. It’s been over a month at this point.

We come to this specific location all the time. I get the same thing every time, which is build your own nachos. They called someone from the back who came out to make my food with gloves already on, no idea what he was doing with those gloves in the back. He proceeded to angrily make my food with his hands, not using any tools (including the pico which he smashed in his hand as he put it in) and giving me 1/3 the food I usually get. Literally tiny handfuls of each ingredient. I watched the person after him use every tool and give the other people in my party the correct amount of food. The most strange, rude experience I have ever had a restaurant. He obviously does not want to be working with people and should absolutely never be...

This location just gets worse over time. I used to love this location back in 2021/2022. It has been nothing but downhill ever since. They give skimpy portions and wanna nickel & dime you for every last thing. I had a BOGO coupon so we went in today. For two entrees, 1 bags of chips & a 4 oz queso it was gonna be $26. Included in that he also charged for extra sour cream & extra cheese. Light portions were given first & the “extra” made it a normal portion, which we had to pay for. Even with a BOGO coupon it was $18. At Chipotle we can get two entrees & chips for $19. If we get queso it brings up to $22. With no coupon. Not to mention, this location has cycled through the worst employees any manager can imagine. There is constantly attitude from every employee & manager every single time we come.
