Ordered: large pumpkin latte with skim and an extra shot. One pumpkin role slice. One croissant. To go.

I was excited to try this new cafe. The hype seemed high and I'm all about supporting a good local shop! I was disappointed in the food and drink I received and the service was not the best.

The croissant was absolutely terrible. Instantly dried my mouth out when I took a bite. It was stale on the ends and tasted like one from Kroger that had been left out a few days. Skip the croissant unless you don't need any saliva.

Pumpkin role also tasted like a subpar previously frozen role. It was nothing special and I didn't even finish it. Overpriced for the quality of it.

Latte was fine. The milk tasted burnt/scalded. I noticed they poured cold milk into the steamed milk after pulling it so I'm thinking they made it too hot on accident and corrected. The syrup is Monin which is great! The coffee itself was nothing to brag about. Simple flavor and taste.

The space itself is beautiful! The atmosphere seems like a great place to work, meet friends, and lounge. Comfy chairs, tables, and some outlets for charging. I wish that effort went into the menu items.

Service felt a bit odd. They gave me a table number even though I said it was to go. Then when I tried to give it back while getting my items the woman looked at me weird and asked why I had a number. Guess you don't get numbers for to go orders? I asked if they had any recommendations for drinks or specialties and had 3 blank stares and some confusion around my question. Which is why I went with a simple order. I am hoping it is just because it's a new shop that they struggled with the question!

Overall, a little disappointed. Felt like another generic coffee shop. The great decor and seats can't make up for a...

I walked in and was so excited by the look of this place. The pastry case is impressive and the menu looked delicious. My boyfriend and I love trying new things so we each got a drink, breakfast sandwich, and danish. The woman at the register seemed annoyed that I had any questions but I’ve worked many and still do work a service job so I get it.. whatever. The cherry danish was very good… that’s where the “very good” ends. Cinnamon roll was extremely undercooked, the sandwiches were way too bready.. not very warm, eggs taste like sulfur… I ordered a tea and my boyfriend got a latte. We didn’t receive those until 10 or so minutes after we’d finished the danishes and food. The tea was an “indigo punch” which sounded so yummy but it legitimately tasted like barely infused water. My bf said the latte was not bad but certainly not worth a 20+ minute wait. I don’t want to be a hater.. especially on a local coffee shop but this was genuinely a horrible experience and costs us $50.. for.. what?? If you go here I suggest if be to just get a danish and maybe a latte.. to sit and enjoy the atmosphere but not for a meal and not to experience pleasant...

"A place with promise." This has the makings of an excellent spot. They're newly opened and finding their footing at the moment. I've been here with my kids, with my wife, and for remote working, all at different times/dates to get a perception of things. When the drinks and food come out, they're fantastic. Sometimes, when busy (and they're SO busy right now on a Saturday mid-late morning) things take a while, as expected in any cafe that has a 10-person line for 2 hours ongoing. I've seen things still steadily come out. And herein lies the beauty (though it's already an aesthetically pleasing space) of this spot...the staff is unwavering pleasant and accommodating. From who seems to be the manager to all the staff, no one has let the stress come across their faces when dealing with their clientelle, and this is a big win. I hope they continue to grow into the space, and I would love to spend mornings here with a sandwich, coffee, and book or a friend, and come back at night for wine and charcuterie. Good luck, and for readers, give this please several visits and you'll fall for the vibe, the staff, and...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an incredible experience at Socialight Café in Kettering! An agent I’ve been following for about five years in my local market, Erin Alexandra Warfield, reached out with an awesome message—she said we needed to finally meet in person. Of course, I had to say yes! She suggested Socialight Café, one of her favorite networking spots, and it did not disappoint. From the moment I walked in, the service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I ordered The Don, an Italian sub-style sandwich, and let me tell you, it was off the hook! Packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and just the right balance of textures, it hit the spot. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was perfect for a networking lunch—relaxed, yet vibrant, with a great energy that made conversation easy and enjoyable. This was more than just lunch; it was a fantastic opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and enjoy an amazing local spot. If you’re looking for a great meal, excellent service, and a prime networking environment, Socialight Café is the place to be. Can’t wait to go back!

From the moment we stepped in during the soft opening, we were blown away. It felt like we had to sit down, take it all in, and even pinch ourselves that something like this exists in the neighborhood. Didn’t take many pictures because I figured everyone else would. Socialite Café has a classy yet cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay a while—whether you’re enjoying a book in a lounge chair or sharing stories with friends on the couches. On our second visit, we were pleasantly surprised when the staff remembered us and treated us to a complimentary sweet treat and a bowl of their delicious hot soup. The attention to detail is fantastic—the 007 Espresso was spot on, and my partner absolutely loved her rose iced latte both times. Months and years of planning clearly brought this amazing place to fruition. The crew is incredibly friendly, and the hospitality feels genuine. This is quickly becoming our go-to spot for great vibes, excellent coffee, and quality food + gives us a reason to be fashionable ;)

We were in Dayton today and decided to give the Socialite Cafe a try. Turned out to be a mistake. The good part is that it’s very cute and has great ambiance. However, we ordered “The Mrs. Astor” ham sandwich, a piece of s’mores cake and a latte. The bread had two thin pieces of ham, cucumber, onion, and an abundance! of Dijon mustard Great concept for a sandwich but pretty lame on the ham part. I didn’t try the latte but my daughter said it was not good. We had to get our own water, then had to find the silverware and napkins. 🧐 I didn’t see a sign about cleaning up your own table but everyone else was doing it. Nope, I didn’t. If anyone would have asked how everything was I would have told them, but no one did!! Not sure what was going on with the couple behind us but they didn’t seem to be enjoying their meal either The cake was only tasted and we didn’t eat any more (the two pics are before and after) It was disgusting.
