My son party is tomorrow and I’ve been shopping around for the past week and comparing prices. These were the only bat man bag I could find. I Go to purchase them and they ring up a totally different price!!! They are on the shelf marked for $4.29 and at the register for $9! I immediately say something about the price difference. Rudely the clerk responded “it’s nothing I can do about it” I asked to speak to the manager and she replied “ she’s off and I’m not going to bother her” I asked well who else can I speak to about the matter and she said “Nobody. There is no one here above me” so I asked again can she call the manager! She then replied “ she’s driving home and I’m not going to bother her. I continued to ask for a manager and she then preceded to make a fake call while walking away and returned and said I can take your name and number and give it to her. My son party is tomorrow! I’ve literally been in the store everyday this week and the price has not changed on the bags. The clerk tried to convince me that they just stalked the aisle. Which is a complete lie as I’ve been in there everyday comparing prices and trying to find party items. I am highly disappointed with the service and the rude attitude given. I recommend shoppers to just go to Party City, Walmart or Amazon. The poor service is just not worth the hassle here. Truly disgusted and disappointed. I was treated as if I moved the items! She even checked the aisle as if she was going honor their mistake. I strong doubt if I will receive that call!
Funny how you say you reviewed the video. Had you watched the video like you advised in your response, you would see I simply asked to speak to a manager! Never once did I say I was stealing anything! I spoke on the interaction I had with your employee. Please don’t lie and say I said anything when your employee was having another interaction with someone completely different that made the statement. Me stealing anything never happened just like the call to the manager never happened at the customers question. Again a poor experience all around; when I simply wanted the bags at the price advertised. If I said I was stealing from your company why exactly would you apologise to me? Wouldn’t I be inconveniencing your business...
Read moreI called this place a couple days before my daughter's bday party inquiring their prices for blowing up balloons. The woman on the other line was very helpful and explained air is cheaper than helium, and gave good advice for doing the decor with the balloons i had by stringing them along the wall. I was excited; I showed up (very close to their closing time unfortunately, due to the time I got off work & them closing at 7pm on a Fri) to drop the balloons off for pickup the next morning. The woman at the counter seemed FURIOUS and was exasperated, when I asked if they could fill them for me to pick up the next morning, spouting that she had 3 other orders to complete before they could leave for the evening. She then went on to ask how many balloons, sizes, etc to which when I began to answer she rudely cut me off saying it could potentially be a very expensive order. I said, "well I spoke to someone yesterday who said it would only be 75¢ per latex balloon, $1 for the larger letters, etc." She cut me off AGAIN stating she was who I spoke with (I was shocked) and she said she didn't realize I only wanted air fills. I felt so bad I offered to give them each (there were 2 workers) a tip and she just waved her hand and said not to worry about it. I just think her attitude and tone toward me were 100% uncalled for no matter what other orders she had to complete. I also made the mistake of giving them the entire Amazon kit for the lettering but I imagined they would put whatever was in the bag in with the balloons once they were blown up. The balloon kit came with adhesive tape and string, which they must have thrown away, but then we did not have string for the balloons to even put them up the way I had intended. I was so frustrated by this experience, I do not think I will be returning to...
Read moreI was in yesterday buying some things for my sons 3rd birthday. When I went to the counter, there was two women. A very nice young lady as the cashier and the owner (she just had to let me know). Anyway when we I out my stuff on the counter, I had a Dory balloon that was on clearance. She immediately started saying (loudly) "why is dory on clearance? Why do we have a clearance dory balloon" she then called someone over to verify this... After we got it figured out that it was In fact clearance, I proceeded to check out with the cashier. The owner interrupted the cashier multiple times while she was explaining things to me making the checkout process harder and longer. I wanted to get some balloons inflated for A few days from now and the cashier asked me if I wanted the additive in them. The owner said "YOU NEVER SELL THEM WITH OUT THE ADDITIVE." So I asked what it was and why I needed it and the owner then said "oh you want it" I asked why and she said it makes the balloons last longer. All while being rude. I don't care if it's only a quarter more, I don't need it...don't charge me for it if I don't need or want it. I will never again shop at this store. I will drive the 20-30 mins to go to Party City next time. I also don't think that just because you're the owner gives you the right to be rude to me, the customer, or the wonderful young girl that was trying to give me...
