I’d like to start off by mentioning I was called to reschedule my appointment two different times before I was able to receive services, so maybe that was the universe telling me not to go through this appointment.

When I was finally able to attend my appointment on Saturday, I went in asking for a purple balayage and was told “not a problem“. After five hours of color treatments and services, my hair did not turn out at all how I asked for it. At first I let it go because it still looked nice at the time. But as the day went on, and as my curls fell out, (curls that I feel like were placed to hide all of the flaws), I started noticing all of the issues with my hair. I noticed that my hair was cut very uneven, there are random bleach spots in my hair, and the intentional spots that they did bleach were not completely covered by the color, which was supposed to be purple.

At the end of the appointment, I was told “I have no idea what happened, I’m sorry.” No explanation and no solution. I essentially paid for a balayage treatment and got patchy highlights that were not even close to the color that I asked for.

I’m giving two stars because I do realize this is a school, and I know that the students are learning, but I definitely feel like the instructors could’ve been way more attentive and helpful with the students more than I saw that they were.

I am also feeling like the colors have already faded quite a bit, and it’s only been three days and one hair wash since my appointment.

On 08/09/25 I visited. My hair is a totally different shade then what I shown Samantha and it is patchy. I understand it needed some bleaching but the top part of my head is literal yellow. The girl that was cutting my hair obviously didn’t know what was doing not confident and I know their students but come on. I come for haircut and you’re cutting an 8th inch of my hair. She didn’t even divide my hair in half. She just trimming it I don’t know what she was doing.
