This shop adds a hidden 10% service charge and disguises it as tax. My receipt (pictured) showed “17% tax,” and when I asked, the staff first claimed it was normal. Only after pressing did they admit it includes a built-in tip.

Scroll down and you’ll see others have flagged this too. The owner responded saying “transparency is important” and a breakdown is always shown — clearly not true.

My husband and I have been ordering Açaí bowls from here since you opened. We love them. We usually get the same 2 bowls (Nutty Bowl & Hurricane bowl). Sometimes we get something else or add on to that order when we have guests. The bowls are delicious and the service is great! However, this morning my husband placed our usual order and picked them up- he did not realize til he got home that the bowls are now less than 1/2 the size of what they used to be!
