I ordered some empanadas and a chorizo sandwich from here and the empanadas were pretty darn good, but the same cannot be said for the chorizo sandwich. It gave me one of the worst food poisoning I have ever experienced. I had chills, fever, and painful headaches for days after consuming the sandwich. Being bedridden was not great and I had to miss several of my classes because the chorizo was probably undercooked. I don't think everyone will experience the same thing but this left a sour taste in my mouth regarding the quality of the food of Nahuen. Never again will I order any kind of sandwich in fear of me contracting another kind of disease from the place. Also, the chorizo was basically tasteless and had no flavor, despite being a chorizo. I highly advise not ordering a chorizo sandwich from here if you have not had one before.

Which is a shame because I liked the aesthetics and atmosphere of the place. Unfortunately, my experience was so awful that I'm hesitant on whether I would ever want to go here again. One other thing, I would really like it if their menu had any bit of English in it but it makes sense it's only in Spanish because most of the residents of Key Biscayne are...

Stay away! Hair in empanadas, moldy bread! Unacceptable manager behavior.

This place has been around for some time now and I think they had a great opportunity with what they offer: simple foods for a quick bite in the Key, however they are strongly lacking a sense of cleanliness and proper restaurant management, eventually someone will get sick!

First instance: we ordered a case of empanadas and found one had a bundle of hair inside. Yes, it was quite disgusting but we honestly thought it was simply someone from the inside clearly mad at the owners. This is why we decided to give them another shot (yes, very wrong decision indeed).

Now we just went to get a sandwich and find out the bread was moldy! On top of that upon complaining to the manager his attitude was defiant, as if there was a way to justify this madness!!!

This is more than just talking about a mediocre place to eat: this is to warn you that you should be careful as you might get sick!!! I have filed a complaint with the...

There are a lot of Argentinians on Key Biscayne so there are a number of Argentinian restaurants. This is probably the most casual of those restaurants, but I actually think the food here is better than at some of the other, pricier locations on the island. My favorite is to get the assortment of meats for twenty bucks. They call it parillada. (Gringos, it is pronounced par-ee-yada.) It is enough food for two normally hungry adults, but my wife and I can usually put away 90% of a full order by ourselves. We always trade out with each other because I'm not a big fan of blood sausage (morcia) or grilled chicken breast. She loves both. The parillada comes with a bowl of french fries and a salad. You will not likely find ketchup at this restaurant, but the fries are mostly crispy so they are delicious with salt. I also think this restaurant has the best empanadas on the island. if you happen to be out on Key Biscayne and you want to try some Argentinian food, this is the...

I’ve been here a few times to pick up empanadas but yesterday I went in to eat lunch inside. There’s plenty of seating outside, and inside. The staff is courteous, friendly and non-pretentious. They have an expensive menu ranging from empanadas, to wraps, burgers, steaks, sandwiches, desserts and more. The food I had was tasty. I’m giving it 3 stars for 2 reasons. Tables were not cleaned up after customers were leaving. I asked 3 different staff members to please clean the table so we could sit, they were all rushing somewhere (the order line can get busy) and we waited and no one cleaned it. Our food was read so I had to grab napkins and a sanitizer bottle from the register and clean the table myself. The other reason is that I ordered a chicken wrap and it turns out it was more of a lettuce wrap with about 4 small pieces of chopped chicken. I sent it back and they gave me a refund.

Small Argentinian bakery but with lots of flavor, great prices, excellent sandwiches, parrillada not bad at all $19.99, as sept. 2020, is a real good deal with 2 sides, next time I'll try the grilled T-bone special. Lots of empanadas, sodas, beers, sandwichs, cakes, pastries and desserts to choose. Good assortment of Argentinian groceries, fresh pasta, lots of great wines and some others liquors, coffe and expresso available. Meat market with great Argentinian cuts and friendly butcher to help you out choose the best for your home grilling. Pick up or dine in, outside seating available too. Worth of a stop if you're going to any beach or park in Key Biscayne.

This place is such a find! The moment you walk in, it feels like you’ve been transported straight to Argentina. The smell of fresh empanadas and grilled meats hits you right away, and it’s impossible not to order something on the spot. The little market in the back is a treasure—yerba mate, dulce de leche, alfajores… all the stuff I grew up with (and missed!). I had a milanesa with fries that was cooked perfectly, and the prices are very fair for the quality you get. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel right at home. I left full, happy, and with a bag of goodies to take home. Can’t wait to come back!
