Before eating here I thought that Taco Bueno and Dairy Queen tacos were the best, but after my best friend took me to this "off the beaten path/hole in the wall" taqueria I now know those aren't even close to authentic tacos and eat here VERY frequently. The restaurant area is tucked away in the back of the store and as soon as you walk in you can tell you're going to get some great food. Food is cooked fresh right in front of you in an open kitchen. Be sure to ask for chips and salsa (both green and red sauce are delicious and very spicy) and I would personally recommend pastor or barbacoa tacos. Read moreThis place is incapable of making a bad dish. I eat here often, and have tried almost their entire menu, and am never disappointed! Even my husband, who is from Mexico, calls the tacos the "best in the world**". There is no printed menu, and the offerings change day to day, but the waitress is more than happy to give you a rundown of what's available that day. We usually go with the tacos; bistec for me and barbacoa for him, but they have many authentic dishes available daily, cooked in an open kitchen right in front of you. They make the corn tortillas themselves, fresh for each order, so sometimes the food might take a little while, but it's well worth the wait and CHEAP!

The food was excellent but was shocked at the prices....The platos are 13.50 or 14.00 I chose beef enchiladas, had 4 enchiladas, beans and rice....more food than I should eat.
